With it being a slow day , I thought I might get your opinions on players that you don`t want with the 9th pick. Players that would make you puke. Players that have been mocked as the Cowboys pick at the 9th position. Players that would make you think WTH. Opinions on the player and the reason . Anybody have any anti-pet cats ?

I agree on Solder. I hate to see a big man play small. I don`t want Peterson ( too much hype not enough results and yes , I have watched several LSU games and he is not a shut-down corner ) , Dareus ( Spears clone ) and Tyron Smith ( he is a project, too small , won`t help the team for at least 2 years , needs strength ).

DB Patrick Peterson and DE Cameron Jordan are my pets at #9.

Anti-Pets well, don't want a QB as it would potentially be a wasted choice. If Marc Sanchez can drive the Bus, Tony Romo can drive two.

I don't have a beef with Jordan.

I'm a Nor Cal homer.

Born in SF, grew up in Sacramento.

I have a beef with drafting a 3 or 4 sack guy top 10.

I also don't like drafting big DE's, whether they be from a college 4-3 or 3-4 and playing them at 3-4 DE in the league. Those guys have zero success rushing the QB except for Aaron and Justin Smith.

The best 3-4 DE's are use to playing in traffic as a DT in college vs on the edge as a college DE. They are use to interior pass rush in nickel whereas guys like Spears, Canty, Hatcher.................aren't.

I think you can get the same DE at 41.

If you're going to draft a DE in one I think Watt had far better production than Jordan and has better size.

I agree completely. If you wouldn't have spent a 9th on the same guy last year, don't do it this year.

You don't take a guy high just because he happens to be the best of a weak class.
