I really really dislike this guy. I loved it when he thought he could keep going for it on 4th down, thinking we were a bag of sweet candy and had it backfire.

When I saw him keep trying us like that, I really wanted us to stick it to him.

Fisher seems like a good coach to me,,, how did you come to dislike him so much?

Here's the one I can't stand,,,

Quick Jeff Fisher story--

I was staying at Mandalay Bay in Vegas and all they serve there is Pepsi and my crack is Diet Coke/Coke fountain mix. There is a MacDonald's across the street and if you've ever been to a Vegas resort casino nothing is just "across the street." because they're so big but I don't care so I walk there. Jeff Fisher is in line in front of me so I say hi. He smiles and says hi, we chat, we're both staying at Mandalay Bay and I tell him I just had to get a Coke. "I know it's stupid but I had to walk all they way here and get one." He smiles, gives me a knuckle bump and says, "Me too -- that's tenacity, you could play for me any day."

Unfortunately no contract was offered, but we both got our Cokes. Really personable guy.

I don't dislike the man, but the multiple 4th down attempts relatively early in the game were a bit arrogant. I don't care how "automatic" you think it is that you'll get the first, you take the 3 points to go up by 7. Especially if you feel like you can continue to control the game.

Do you blame him for going for it on 4th? They were gashing us up the middle all day. And each 4th down was less than a yard and in our territory. Those were the right decisions. They would have picked up the one they tried in the 2nd half if they didn't decide to have a guard pull on the play, leaving a wide open gap for Hitchens to run through. They got too cute.

Yeah that too.

I felt like he was basically saying "You guys suck, and I don't respect you"

While he may have reason to feel that way, still get's you pissed.

I don't necessarily blame him. The fact he was doing it, I was hoping we would make him pay for it though.

The first 4th down he went for, wasn't that on the first or 2nd drive? After they were marching right down the field on us? It was less than a yard. They just fell forward for the first. No way of knowing if they could control the game.

And the second one he went for, we already had all the momentum at that point.

Both were the correct calls.

For all the hooting and hollering about how good of coach some people made him out to be when he was on the Titans, it doesn't really seem like the Rams are in a better position either.

I don't think it was arrogant... I actually think it was a sign of respect to our offense. Our O had gotten it rolling by then I think he knew they needed seven and not three to keep up with our scoring.

The coach had nothing to do with how i felt about the win. Im sure thats hard to imagine give. Some of the people who die inside when the cowboys win under garrett.

Well yeah that's just common to want to make any team pay for going for it on 4th. That's the beauty of it from both sides. On offense, you want to show you are the dominant ones and can pick up a 4th down and exert your will. On defense, you want to make them pay for trying to go for it.

meh, the only thing that's ever bothered me about Fisher was the big stink he made about Jerry's huge TV in the middle of the stadium..

going for it on 4th down in those situations were the right call imo

When you are the underdog and you have a chance to go for the jugular then you DO IT. I love the coaching style. His players lost the game. He didn't.

I trade Red for Fischer in a heartbeat!

Didnt he complain about the video screen at att?

i think it was a preseason game a few years back or something where he told his punter to hit it.. memory is a little foggy on that, but it was something to that affect
