Who else remembers the last Cowboys/Lions MNF game?

I remember it very well. I was a freshman in high school at the time, and caught all kinds of hell from classmates every time the Cowboys lost. I was living in Browns territory back then.

The last time the Cowboys and Lions met on Monday Night Football was early in the 1994 season. We lost a heartbreaker in OT. Besides the Emmitt/Barry duel I remember Emmitt scoring the TD to send the game to OT, Leon Lett blocking 2 FGs, and Troy Aikman getting sacked by Broderick Thomas and fumbling the ball to set up the Lions' game-winning FG.

I also remember a few costly penalties in that game. This will be the 4th time that these teams have played each other on MNF.....here's to hoping the end result of this matchup will be more like the one in 1975, a 36-10 Cowboys win, than the one in 1994.

For some reason my main memory of that game was some sort of major stuff by Chris Spielman on Moose in either a goal line situation or 4th and short play.

I was shocked and somehow it's been burned in my memory.

The last two Lions games I remember were the 1992 divisional playoff loss, and some time in the mid 1980's where we lost to Eric Hipple.

I remember it well. I got so mad when Broderick Thomas forced Troy Aikman to fumble to end the game that I punched the arm on my cheap recliner so hard that I badly bruised (maybe even chipped a bone) in my hand and it hurt for months afterwards. Since then I bought a quality leather chair with big overstuffed arms.

I definitely remember. The Lions were wearing throwback uniforms. I had the feeling the Lions were going to keep it close and obviously they did and won the game. Scott Mitchell was the Quarterback maybe? It was either him or Dave Krieg. I remember they had Herman Moore and Brett Perriman as their starting wide receivers and of course Barry Sanders at running back. That was a pretty good offense back in the day

Wasn't there a blocked fg or missed fg or something at the end of the game? Could've swore the score was 20-19 or something like that

What I remember about that game was the opening. "Home Improvement" was the big hit at that time, and ABC used the opening graphic showing Jerry Jones and Tim Allen.

The final score was 20-17. Leon Lett actually blocked 2 FGs in that game.
