Who else would really like to know what Belicheck think of us?

We talk to no end expressing our own opinions of the team. And when were not doing that we're either arguing over or using the opinions of talking heads to justify our own.

But how often do we get real insight from someone who's opinion means something.

Now I know Belicheck can coach speak with the best of them. "There real good here and real good there, should be a great challenge and we'll have to be at our best". Blah blah blah.

But sometimes you get something. Within the coachspeak, you can sometimes get clues, nuggets. What he does or doesn't say in response to certain direct questions can be telling.

So I hoped this might become a Belicheck on the Cowboys thread where any articles or interviews could be posted.

Maybe we can gain some insight on the team.

Was just reading some stuff on Boston.com about our game. Belichick hasn't said much, as you'd expect, but he did say that there was some carryover from Rex to Rob in that both are 34 guys who will use multiple fronts, and both throw anywhere from 4 to 7 DBs at you. He also talked at length about how great Ware was.

After watching that NFL Network special on him, I liked him even more. He doesn't seem too in love with himself as some kind of all-knowing genius. Of course, most people know that Theisman's infamous botched quote was pretty much correct in principle.

I saw his monday PC. Not much about the Cowboys, but one writer did ask BB what is the biggest challenge in facing Demarcus Ware. BB dryly responded "blocking him."

Then he listed about 10 things that Ware does well.

I got a good laugh out of this post. It is just about as accurate as you are going to get. He is a funny guy in his own way. But let's get serious, he is never going to please anyone when he stands before the media.

A Win - mumble, yeah good game, but we made some mistakes we have to work on.

A Loss - mumble, we made some mistakes we have to work on.

That is about all the media is going to get.

It is just who he is. But he does appreciate good talent - regardless of the team -- actually tries to get those guys in a trade or FA pickup when he can.

Pretty much says it all if we are hoping to come across any "insider" comments, or uncharacteristically "candid" remarks he might make before the game. Just a big blank.

After the game, if he is feeling testy, maybe. Before the game though, not likely.

Well considering his team plays us this weekend, I'm guessing he's thinking about us a lot right now.

The purpose of the thread was pretty clear. Post info offering insight as to what Belicheck thinks of the Dallas Cowboys.

I wasn't soliticing opinions of what you or any other ******* on this site thinks Belicheck thinks of us. That what all the other threads are for.

You're right, cause they are hands down 2 of the best QBs to ever play the game, ever, in the history of the sport, that's probably why people don't think of that.

But since you mention it, outside of Brady & Manning, who else would you say that about in the NFL right now?

Rivers maybe and maybe Big Ben because rings mean everything now-a-days.

Shaub? Ryan? McNabb? Eli? Vick? Cutler? Sanchez?

It's so easy to say Romo's garbage, but when you look around the league it's pretty obvious he's right there between 5th and 8th best on most everyone's list. People that look at wins, and stats, and evidence, and stupid stuff like that.
