when could we win without troy? or Irvin for that matter?

Yeah we've wona few individual games without those guys but that doesnt constitute winning to me.

didnt we go 0-2 in one season without emmitt, and then proceeded to win the SB, say what you want but Troy stood straighint in the pocket because of him, those playaction gave Troy easy targets for passes, Michael without Emmit would have had more people covering him than 2. Emmitt did more for this team than just rushing, he was the heart, the team couldnt beat without him let's not forget that gaints game.

the NFL's all-time leading rusher...

look for the words "NFL's all-time" on the resume of aikman and irvin - you won't see 'em.

the contest is for second-place...

good luck troy and michael.

we won big stretches of games in the 90s without Aikman back there.. Garrett, Cunningham, Kosar, etc won games for us with Aikman hurt.. but whenever Emmitt had to miss (only a couple of games), the Cowboys lost.. someone mentioned starting 0-2.. thats right, it was the second Super Bowl year.. the Cowboys got beat the first two games without Emmitt.. then Emmitt came back and the Cowboys went on to kill everyone.. Emmitt truly did make everyone better..

They could not even win a few individual games when Smith did not play.

Emmit Smith by far. He was w/the Cowboys the longest of the three and was more endearing to the fans. I don't know....it just seemed more personal with Emmit then with the other two. A good example was the Giant's game where he put the pain of his shoulder behind him in order to take the team on his shoulders and win the game. Don't get me wrong though...there is a LOT of love for the other two also, but Emmit left it all on the field when he left the Cowboys and the fans recognized this.

I think the cheers should and would be equal.
I think they were all 3 as important to the championships.
I do not think you can take small doses and say well we went 0-2 without Emmitt , but won when Troy was down.
One thing we had better backups for Troy than Emmitt. At least during the winning years.
Another thing Troy was never better than at playoff time.
I voted Troy but I just threw the names in a hat.
Can't wait til Monday.
As Tuna says "It will be a good thing".

Close call between Troy and Emmitt. Probably Emmitt.

Definitely NOT Irvin. Although he had a lot to do with our success on the field I've never forgiven him for the black eye he gave this organization.
