Monday night at 1/2 time for the Ring of Honor:

Michael Irvin
Troy Aikman
Emmit Smith

I think it's Michael...Vote

Should of made this a poll question. I think it will be Emmitt!

Man, I love all three. But I have to go with Irvin.

Part of the reason is that, although he's now a sportscenter announcer type, he still a shameless homer for the Boys. Troy has tried to be neutral to the point that he almost seems reluctant to say anything positive about the Cowboys. Emmitt has just started the announcing gig so he's been relatively quiet. But Irvin wears his heart on his sleeve and he's as big a Cowboys fan as anyone on this forum - and he doesn't care who knows.

i say the playmaker. all the guys we have had after him....well lets just say the replacement hasnt been found yet(crayton maybe).....aikman will eb second and emmitt third, becuase he did disrespect the team when he was there in his final years and i dont think that anyone will forget it

I dont think they should be individually announced all three should go at the same exact time.

Irvin for sure. After he retired the team was never the same. He never won any super bowl MVP's or was never the all time leader in recieving yards, but his intensity, guts, passion, arrogance, and swagger was truely missed. No one will ever take the place of "THE PLAYMAKER".

Aikman will get the biggest ovation follwed by Emmitt and then Irvin.

Give me the Pleamaker as well. He all but embodied the swagger and air of superiority this team took with it en route to three world titles. I think the fans really identify with his passion as well.

very difficult too call.......I would say Michael. He was the motivator.

I have often wondered how well these guys would have done without each other.

That would be an interesting thread.

Some things are better off left unknown Cb

Troy. If for no other reason that we have struggled big time trying to replace him.

The tripplets were so dependent on each other for their individual successes. Without one the other two dont go on to have the careers they had.

As far as ovation? It would be a shame for any one of them to recieve more than the others. Three different guys that played as one. Its so rare and thats what made them so special.

I don't remember Emmitt for his last year here, or his 2 years in AZ.

Emmitt.. he was the most important piece of the puzzle.. and he was always the classiest and the most loved.. he bleeds silver and blue, which is already apparent in his first work on the NFL Network.. we could win without Troy and without Michael, but we could never win without Emmitt..

when could we win without troy? or Irvin for that matter?

Yeah we've wona few individual games without those guys but that doesnt constitute winning to me.
