Every player on the list has a chance to return...it's all about the money.

McClain...right incentive laden contract with an out for us, he's back....otherwise, see ya.

Hardy...it all depends on getting him to agree to our contract--by far, the most disruptive player on the field, and remember, he came off a lost season and is still working himself into prime form without much tackle support.

Claybourne...certainly not at top draft status money, but at 4-5 million per year, a good player to resign, a guy still young and improving, gaining confidence for first time...let's see how he finishes year...our best corner this year.

Carr...least likely to return...unlikely to take a HUGE pay cut...not a good scheme fit. Happy to have him back at average vet starter money or maybe 3 million, but that's very unlikely. The question is do we release a starting CB unless it actually saves money. I'd guess he wants to go to a different scheme with a better pass rush.

You can't just start cutting guys because creating more holes to fill isn't the way to build your roster. That said the favorite to return of those 4 players is Mo followed by McClain followed by Hardy then Carr.
