Who has a better Offense next year, us or the Chargers?

Why does Herbert get a pass for being this 'awesome QB' when he's missed the playoffs several years in a row and had a 1st round playoff exit. The chargers had a worse record than the Cowboys this year as well, so where is all this Herbert hype coming from?

Both will suck. There is no need to encourage such negativity or competition here. One will be ranked 24th, the other 23rd. Doesn’t really matter.

If Herbert throws for 100 and no TDs but his defense scores 5 TDs off of pick sixes you think Herbert should get a W next to his name?.
No, Herbert shouldn't credit for a win like that. But we all know the Dak homies would be hell bent on trying to give Dak credit for the same thing....

If LAC can stay healthy and not lose their key players like LT, both WR's and best DL, they should have the better offense and possibly team.

How is it even possible to say which team will be better when you don't even know who the new OC will be in Dallas and both teams will have new faces all over the place. TBH I don't care if the Chargers have a "higher ranked" offense as long as the Cowboys offense can step up and do what they need to do when it matters most. I can live with a middle of the pack offensive rating that focuses on winning games over piling up stats. Run the ball, play defense, win games. If the Cowboys ride that formula to 12-13 wins next season and can take that formula on a deep playoff run I won't give a rat's arse if the Chargers lead the league in every stat on the way to a first round playoff exit.. Or even miss the playoffs entirely.

Hmm, I’d say Herbert + Ekeler + Williams is better than Dak + Pollard + Lamb, regardless of who the OC is
and yet 1 playoff appearance and a loss in Herberts 3 years.

Dak 4 out of 6years playoff appearances and not one losing season when healthy anyone let that register before they post 17 threads on Daks the issue. B2B 12 win seasons with playoff berths, a road win, finally beat brady, and somehow won on grass.. that some of the best years weve had since the 90s..

Dak sux, its clear form all those facts i posted.

better on paper, maybe but their defense also looks stacked but again 1 playoff appearance and a loss lol Dak first 3 seasons 2 playoff appearance and playoff win.. if we had a real defense show up in the playoffs in 16 we make the NFCG..

yet on paper LOL sure pick the overrated LAC, they put up stats. Remember stats , they count huh..i gues they do unless its dak or Romo

They got a pile of weapons over there and a really good QB. Who will have the better Offense next year now that Kellen is there and what will his loss mean here.
None of you refuse to see how important Kellen was for our offense as without him Dak will be totally lost and unable to even beat even the dog teams on our schedule!!!.
Our offense will finish bottom 10 this coming season.
Book it, Danno!!!

This thought process that the offense is based on 1 guy is just wrong. Sure, the QB has more impact on the offense than anyone, but there is more to an offense than just the QB. The Chargers have some weapons but suffered from OL injuries this year. That's why they struggled at times. If they get healthy, Moore has stepped into a great situation. I think the Chargers will continue to upgrade the OL and they could be the dominant offense in that conference.

The Cowboys could be a lot better too. I can argue both ways about letting Moore go. I do think this is about Dak and I do think Dak needs someone new to work with him as a last resort. Dak has regressed and that has to be reversed. Maybe someone new can help him improve in some areas.

As of right now Coach McCarthy is the default offensive coordinator until one is officially hired.

No it's not. Dak's been here 7 years. Herbert 3.

Dak's had a top 10 scoring defense 6 times. Herbert 0. Dak's had a top 10 overall defense 3 times. Herbert 1 time had the 10th ranked defense. Dak has had a top 10 rushing offense 6 out of 7 years. Herbert 0.

They are not the same.
Here are the Cowboys defensive rankings by year:

Year Scoring Yards
2016 5th 14th
2017 13th 8th
2018 6th 7th
2019 11th 9th
2020 28th 23rd
2021 7th 19th
2022 5th 12th

So having illuminated the fallacy in your statement above I will leave it to the readers to evaluate the validity of anything further you might have to say.

Due to age and how often they are injured, The Chargers weapons are way overrated.
Kennan Allen is old and worn down and cant stay healthy
Mike Williams is good but has never once played a full season. His knees are a mess.

sure, if everyone is healthy on both teams, and they both roll with who they have (wont happen) I give the nod tbe LAC.
But both teams will have additions and subtractions

The only thing the Chargers have over the Cowboys is the QB position. You can make an argument for Ekeler but I see him as a 3rd down back like Darren Sproles.

Their best receiver is Keenan Allen that was drafted the same year as former Dallas receivers Terrence Williams and Tavon Austin.
Do you see Pollard as 3rd down back?
come on, Ekeler is a bit of workhorse to be called a 3rd down back
I think he had about 300 touches

Unless we pick up a Solid #2 / #1b WR, and Better RB we will not have a solid season. So offseason needs to get to the level of the Chargers Talent

1. better WR
2. better RBs Plural (Pollard is not going to be ready until 6 games in to the season/Zeke is washed up even if he's resigned for a pay cut).
3. fix L-OG position.

I just read, Brock Purdy has as many wins in the playoff as dak lol and it's his first year. :lmao:

Aaron Rodgers is 0-4 vs Jimmy Garoppolo.... Aaron Rodgers is considered the top 2 best quarterbacks to have ever played but has the same amount of Superbowl rings as Nick Foles, Trent Dilpher, Joe Theismann, and Mark Rypien and Brad Johnson....

Dak sent Brady home in the playoffs.....

So according to your logic, what should I take from all these things??
