Saints fans are the worst bandwagoners, I live in SE Texas, and the sports bars were filled with those clowns after their SB, now it's back to where it was, maybe one table.

I don't really have any as out here, the Cowboys fandom runs strong. I can tell you plenty of Chargers bandwagoning, though.
Yeah, Socal fans are awesome. I went to the SD game a few years ago with the Socal fan club (SCDCFC).... We bought thirty 30-packs of beer in Compton before we drove down there. Lol

Every year, the team who is hot gets bandwagon fans. We are fortunate enough to be that team this year, particularly due to the Dak & Elliott wonderboy's media storyline.

I'm sure many of you know from school, work, whatever, that guy or gal who has suddenly become a Dallas Cowboys fan, probably bragging about the team last year they joked about.. Anyone have any fun stories yet?

Figure this could be a funny conversation. Might get more humorous after we win this weekend.
Why would you want to perpetuate something like this? The so-called bandwagon jumpers are something that Cowboy haters have been giving us crap about for 2 or 3 generations. Why would us fans pile on to that? It's human nature to have different levels of enthusiasm at various times. There is nothing really wrong with that so embrace the love, don;t perpetuate a myth. It is a myth because all teams have bandwgaon jumpers - Packers, Giants, Patriots, Seahawks. Man the Hawks and Pats have alot.

My FedEx lady flat out told me she's jumping on the Cowboys bandwagon because of Dak. I said, "oh sweety, there's not enough room for you."

My old boss a few years ago knew I was a big cowboys fan so he wanted to talk to me about the boys/colts game that night (when the boys gave them their first loss)

"Man I don't know who to root for tonight, these are my two teams"

Huh? How are the colts AND the cowboys your teams?

"Well back when the cowboys were winning superbowls I became a fan, but now they keep losing so when the colts won the sb I started liking them"

WHAT?? lol so you're just a bandwagon fan?

"Yeah! Bandwagon, that's it. When a teams good then I like them. Who the hell wants to cheer for a loser"

A journey of a thousand miles starts with but a single step. Our main goal is to take a 4 hour drive south down I-45 to win a game in Houston, so the steps we take on Sunday are walking all over the Packers and waiting for our next opponent. I have my Cowboy boots on, bags are already packed for Houston so let's get to stepping. :flagwave:

This is not really a bandwagon story, per se, but it has some similarities. I live in the Dallas area and obviously come in contact with a lot of Cowboys fans. Now everybody is talking Cowboys. Many people I come across start the conversation with something about the Cowboys (The guy at the U-Haul place, waiters, etc..). Often some guy in a group will present himself as the Cowboys expert, and occasionally that guy will go to a lot of games and occasionally it will be somebody with season tickets. Anyway, the point is that these guys will blabber on in a group about Cowboys this and that as if they really know a lot and/or that being a season ticket holder makes them a real expert. Sometimes I just listen, but occasionally I'll jump in the conversation and start going into details to see how much the guy knows. They normally know several players but I'll say something as simple as "What do you think about Anthony Brown" or "How impressed have you been with Maliek Collins" or maybe "Who should get the most snaps at Left DE?" and they'll quickly start fidgeting. Throw in some other simple question like "Do you think they'll run much 3-2 alignment and they won't know if that's a question about defense or offense. For the vast majority of conversations I'll just stick to generic talk like Dak/Zeke are great and what will Romo do next year, etc., but when some guy starts getting too arrogant, it's fun to knock him down a peg.

I'd once had an infuriating work colleague who always followed whoever was winning. I remember tackling him on this and his answer was......."I like good football so I follow whichever team is playing the best football. ..:.

I've even seen him go on and on about a team for days before a big game and if the team loses he says he's switched allegiance because the team that won "plays better football "

Worst type of fan in sports.

The double-fans that I'm OK with are the ones I meet that lived somewhere else and moved to Dallas as an adult. They have a favorite team usually from where they lived as a kid, but now have been in Dallas for awhile and find themselves liking the Cowboys to some extent. Sometimes their spouse and even their kids will be Cowboys fans.

Other people in this situation will go the other way and become super Cowboys haters. One guy moved here from the Green Bay area but has been here several years. His son was born here and goes to school here. The kid wanted to be a Cowboys fan but this guy beats him down and has basically forced him to be a Packers fan. He sends the poor kid to school in Packers clothing. Having known the kid along, I saw where he really wanted to be a Cowboy fan in part because all of friends were Cowboys fans, but now he is a "Packers Fan".
