Who I fear most in the playoffs: 49ers offense/defense machines

The 49ers have played ONE team currently above .500 this year, and they lost that game by 3 touchdowns. At home no less.

Sadly teams seem to prepare for the playoffs. We just show up. Kind of.

Their defense hasn’t been that impressive and they still have a rookie 7th round QB. Philly with a healthy Hurts is much scarier. But the NFC is no match for the AFC. They have elite QBs and good defenses. The Bills have a top 3 defense and Cincy has been on fire lately. Not to mention sleeper teams like Jags and Chargers. The NFC is very weak this year. Hottest team might be Green Bay.

My opinion of poor NFC playoff matchups for Dallas:
1.49ers front 7 vs current oline.
2.Brady and receivers vs secondary.
3.Rodgers.

In the AFC, Mahommes, Allen and Burrow all present an even higher level skillset to defend against at the QB position. Their individual play would be hard enough to defend even before mentioning their team's other strengths.

And my most obvious playoff disadvantage?
Playoff coaching.
The egg McCarthy laid last year and his post game presser saying his team was nervous? And then followed up by stating he did not contribute to any offensive game plan calls leading up to the game OR during the game as he watched his offense struggle. A bizarre post game presser in which he was trying to say hey it wasn't my fault. It was SO pathetic.

This year he already said "We're nobody's underdogs. He also said in this year's offseason how he will be involved in the offense.

So I am curious to see how it all plays out and if there's any actual accountability should they lose.
Last year's coaching by McCarthy was some of the most spineless crap I've witnessed after taking a physical manhandling that the 49ers gave them. LOTS of HEAD coaching improvement needed.
NOT coordinators. THE HEAD guy.
Make a difference for once. In a playoff game you were specifically hired to win.

"probably" is kind of vague.

Don't be too sure of who we might not meet.

Probably is not vague, ye bland man. Possibly, or maybe is vague. As it stands right now, the 49ers would be our 3rd playoff game. Might as well start worrying about who we're going to meet from the AFC.

I fear all the teams, we have already been embarrassed by GB and they have our number. We barely beat the Eagles without their best player. We lost to SF last year and we are not much better if at all and they are much better. Tampa Bay has Brady which come post season time is extra scary IMO. What team should we not be concerned about? It's more about who is less concerning for me that would be Tampa Bay since I think we could potentially sack Brady enough. The others I don't think we really have a chance unless they get over confident and Big Mike finally gets his team prepared to play a ball game.

Again, I am most concerned (if the game occurred) with the 49ers, me toff.
I did not state, as I recall, tha we would meet them in the first game or NFC game.
I believe, with resolve, tha the 49er blokes are THE team to beat in the NFC.
Be a good lad and bring me pipe.

Let's see how Purdy holds up in the playoffs.

Diggs is licking his chops to go against Purdy. He will bait Purdy into thinking a Receiver is open and close quickly on Purdy's rainbow throws.

The team that worries me the most is the Cowboys. They can beat any team in the Tournament including themselves. That slow starting, untimely mistake making, big drops and giveaways Cowboys who can't stop a nosebleed on defense will kill their chances.

All Purdy has to do is hand off to McCaffeinated, Samuels, Wilson, Mason or Mitchell, all rugged and aggressive.
And the occasional big gain to Kittle.
And get this, chaps, their top 5 receivers, led by Aiyuk, Samuels and Kittle have gained 3,100 yards this season.

Yes, me bland men of the North Texas pampas, you need to be wary of the 40whiners.
Their D is anchored by Bossa and their secondary is a tight disciplined unit.
Overall, they seem stronger than the Egirls.

As if facing Brady alone is not a nightmare.

Holla and brings me a dollah!

You're probably right, but both teams are gonna be tough.

I think I'd rather play the niners for an opportunity at revenge.
