I think you are right. I forgot about the back-to-back twice. Bjut it is still impressive, and they are both young enough to win a few more in this watered-down league...
Hopefully not!!!!!

I think I've been pretty clear on the guy. I have nothing personal against anyone, (maybe my ex-wife) I let the record speak for itself. 4 years, going on 5 - we have a ton of the same problems we had 4 years ago, so I'm done.

It is impressive. I'm just ridiculing these BP only won with BB threads that always seem to pop up on this board. I think you could use this same argument with a lot of head coaches. I think both BP and BB have been very impressive head coaches in the NFL. BB won three superbowls in four years. BP won two superbowls and turned around four different horrible teams.

Everyone want BP to go, but we also have very short memories of how bad those three straight 5-11 seasons really were.

and he was old, just like BP.and BP has done nothing to write home about either. How do u have the best reciever in the game and not get him the ball more?

I dont know if I would go even as close as far as saying Owens is the best in the game. The best WR in the game doesn't drop as many balls as he does.

It's not all on BP if Owens isn't getting open, or if Romo doesn't get him the ball.

And exactly what has Bellichick accomplished since his assistants left? If he loses next week to Indy - nothing.
As of this postseason, he's 2-0 since his assistants left, and he's beaten one of the fashionable picks for the AFC in the SB, in their house. :eek:That counts for something.

If Manning loses to NE again in a big game, that'll be some fun reading in the Indy papers.

Actually, he is 2-1 (will most likely be 2-2 after Sunday) since his assistants left (lost by 14 points against Denver last year). Also, the Pats were 4-0 against Manning in 2003 and 2004. Without the assistants (2005 & 2006), the Pats are 0-2 (both games were in New England).

This waiting around crap is for the birds. And what are we waiting for?another 9-7?Watch he will get more money somehow.BP is a funny guy in interviews but otherwise he stinks,i lost complete hope after this year.Unless He brings in a good DC and lets him have control of the D.Otherwise Please leave.:pray2:

I agree. Considering how blatantly unprepared we looked EVERY game this year....if BP didn't have skins on the wall from ancient days ago...he'd probably get fired after this year's debacle. He seems to have a positive influence on other young coaches...but ironically they all seem to have much more success once they get away from him....
With all of our draft picks, high priced FAs, and money spent....JJ (and all of us) expected a H*** of a lot more. We sure didn't expect to be thoroughly embarrassed every game the last half of the season.
Scheming, playcalling, and getting players prepared to play fall directly on the coach and coaching staff (all of whom BP hand-selected)...and those areas are where we failed the most miserably, most consistently.

What's the difference betweem Dave Campo, and Bill Parcells?

Nothing. Both took Jerry Jones' money under false pretenses.

We would have been pummeled in San Diego....there is noooooo comparison any longer between Bellichek and Parcells....it's not even close.

My problem is jerry. He comes in and kicks out a legend in tom landry, who is the cowboys. Yet bill parcells who's done crap for us, is being treated like royalty by jerry. Jerry needs to grow a pair and make the decision for parcells. Jerry is acting like were losing belichick. Enough of this tapdancing, either you want to be here or not. Jerry grow a pair, and get rid of him.

Give me a break. Tom Landry was a legend whose time had passed. Much like the legend we have today. His time has passed also.

My favorite Parcells PC...After the Buffalo Super Bowl (Norwood miss)...he was asked by a reporter, about Bruce Smith who had been running his mouth all week...

"Uh, coach, Bruce Smith said..."

Parcells cut the reporter off and responded "Is he still talking? Tell him to go talk to Jumbo" (Jumbo Elliot who had manhandled Smith that game)

Honestly, I used to truly like the guy.

This ain't the same guy.

Well....maybe you won't be able to use that dumb comparison much longer. Bellichek is winning playoff games with arena league recievers and no name olineman in a tougher conference on the road, while Bill is sitting at home contemplating whether he wants to embarass himself further by returning next season.
