Get yourself on record.

I firmly believe Felix Jones is a pro bowl caliber back, and the hype behind him is very real. Anytime he gets the ball in space I feel like he's going to break one. You don't average 8 yards per carry against the SEC, then continue to make NFL defenders look equally as foolish if you aren't a special player.

Honorable mention: Martellus Bennett. Had the best offseason/preseason IMO, I think he has finally recognized that he has Antonio Gates caliber talent and is finally taking himself seriously.

My vote for disappointment, no surprise here - Roy Williams. I vividly remember his performance last year and he's shown little indication this offseason that he's changed his defensive attitude. Prove me wrong Roy, show us that you're a true # 1 - because otherwise we're stuck with an above average, sure handed possession receiver that costed us a ton of picks.

Honorable mention: Anthony Spencer, he has all the physical skills and he is going to see several one on one opportunities to make plays with the amount of attention Ware draws. One more mediocre season and he'll join the ranks of Carptenter rue-age.

I think Spencer will disappoint again, he just doesn't show an explosion to the QB

he's going to rack up alot of tackles, and may end up leading the team in tackles for loss, but he's not a dynamic pass-rusher at all, so I'd be suprised if he gets 8 sacks

Ogletree. I think he's going to contribute more than many believe. With Hurd and Austin's knack for finding the trainer's table, I think Ogletree could end up being our next Patrick Crayton (not bad for, yet another, undrafted FA).

I think are passing attack is going to surprise many of the naysayers.

I think the safety position will disappoint again this year. I hope i'm wrong on this.

Solid picks. Forgot about Hamlin packing it in after that fat contract.

Is Roy Williams another Keyshawn? That said...

Roy > Keyshawn
Roy = Keyshawn
Roy < Keyshawn

I think he'll be OK. Probably not worth what the team invested though.

Keyshawn comparisons is being generous at this point in Roy's career.

Felix Jones or Martellus Bennett breaking out won't be much of a surprise.

I think Anthony Spencer is going to surprise. He's shown good presence in coverage and he honestly can't be worse than Greg Ellis rushing the passer. Ellis was great in his prime, but after the achilles injury and the age catching up, he was just a guy on the field for us more times than not.

As far as disappointment, I'm going to go with Marion Barber, not because I don't think he will still be a beast, but I think flashes of Felix Jones are going to give many CZ members the perception that Marion Barber is not as good as he really is, and the "trade Barber" screams will be heard by about Week 6.

For NFL-wide stuff, I think the Cincinnati Bengals will surprise this year. Improved defense, solid QB, and the addition of Lavuraneus Coles in place of losing TJ Houshmandzadeh will be a sleeper hit for them. I also think the New England Patriots will disappoint. Film is out, running game is below average and their aging defense did not get any better with the trade. The Steelers also have the potential to be very disappointing...very middle-of-the-road offensive line, Roethlisberger was the third most sacked QB in the NFL last year, and their running game is still suspect with Mendenhall. We'll see how they fare against a more confident and improving Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens, as well as some of the other surging teams in the AFC such as the Dolphins.

Surprise: Patrick Crayton - Had been written off by fans, wanting him gone, not wanting him as the #2 and all he does is work harder. Hopefully people will see just how good of a player we have in him.

HM: Kevin Ogletree -
I don't know if he can be considered a "surprise" because of all the preseason love, but I think he'll be the #3 receiver before the season is over.

Disappointment: Anthony Spencer - I'm hoping I'm completely wrong here, but I just don't see him being as good as others do. I believe he'll be a fine starter, but fans seem to be wanting pro bowl caliber play, that's what I don't see.

HM: Tashard Choice - I love choice.... however, he's the 3rd string back and he's going to have fewer opportunities to flash on the field if Barber and Felix stay healthy all year. I think he'll play well when he's actually on the field.
