Surprise - Anthony Spencer, loved what I saw of him the preseason. I don't think he'll be the biggest pass rush guy, but he seems like he'll be a total force against the run if he just carries out his assignments. He has a ton of range.

Disappoint - Miles Austin, he's just a big tease.

Cowboys:

Suprise- Bennett I know we are expecting a lot from him, but I think he could have double digit TD's. I skipped drafting Witten in my fantasy league because I think Bennett will steal a lot of his TD's.

Honorable- Roy Williams It won't be Owens numbers, but I can easily see at least a 1,200 yard season and somewhere near 10 TD's. Maybe it's a concerted effort to fire this guy up, if it is, it's working.

Disappointment- Adams Everyone sees him declining, but I think his declination will continue and if we do come up short again, it will be essentially his fault. I hope we can find ways to slow down the DE end on his side a bit through screens and by running at him.

Honorable- Austin I think we should have let the Jets have him. He is always gettting hurt and this year will probably be no different.

NFL:

Suprise- I guess the Cowboys, since everyone is so down on them/us.

Honorable- Bengals I think they will make the playoffs, and could win the division.

Disappointment- Eagles Everyone seems to have gotten on their bandwagon after their late run last season. Did everyone forget the five weeks before that. I think they fall somewhere in between. That's good enough for 9-7 and home for the playoffs. Besides, this McNabb/Vick thing will erupt at some point.

Honorable- Steelers Just not as good as they seem to be. They got hot as well last season at just the right time. I think the Bengals and Ravens finish ahead of them in the division, leaving them home from the playoffs.

Surprise = RW11
Nowhere to go but up by all accounts he is a scrub to many. :rolleyes:

HM: Barber = People tend to forget how this guy earned his nickname and after people questioned his toughness last year + having Felix pushing him / keeping him fresh... MBIII is looking to make folks (defenses) pay

Disappoint = Felix
I think expectations are too high for the kid, but I DO think he is special.

HM: DWare = Yes, Ware. Another guy with the bar sky-high and every OC that he plays against will be even more determined to slow or stop him.

Is Roy Williams another Keyshawn? That said...

Roy > Keyshawn
Roy = Keyshawn
Roy < Keyshawn

I think he'll be OK. Probably not worth what the team invested though.

Keyshawn was motivated to play for Parcells. Wade can't motivate ice to melt in a desert. Don't even know if that makes sense.

Either way, hopefully Roy's ego motivates him.

I think Spencer will disappoint again, he just doesn't show an explosion to the QB

he's going to rack up alot of tackles, and may end up leading the team in tackles for loss, but he's not a dynamic pass-rusher at all, so I'd be suprised if he gets 8 sacks

...a tackle for a loss is the equivalent to a sack.
