Who is jumping on the Vasher express

For those that follow Texas Tech, why didn’t he put up better numbers in college? Seems like a 6’6” superstar would do more in college ball. Especially TT, home of Kingsbury and so many pass happy offenses.

Great question, and honestly Im waiting for an answer, maybe my best guess is really young.

I just want to see how much further Vasher can advance himself during TC and preseason looks, this is a chance for him and would be nice to up the stakes a bit at WR5, would give this offense something different.

I’m not sold on him, for sure. However, there is plenty of time for him to change my mind. He will have some opportunities to win a spot. He will have to do it soon though, and most importantly, he needs to show that he can help in other areas (ie blocking and special teams).

I’m rooting for him.

I’d love to have him as a red zone target but he has to get consistent
It’s gonna be hard to make the roster because we have 5 almost locks and may not carry but 5
If he can contribute on ST it would really enhance his chances. The easiest path is bump brown off but that’s gonna require contributing on ST
Brown is what he is, a good ST player who can catch the ball if he gets open
He has no real upside as a receiver at this point

It’s all about being consistent for him

I hope Vasher will distinguish himself well, if given the opportunity to do so, as the coming season gets underway. He has work to do but has shown to be one worth watching to make the most of his chances. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him to help make up for our WR losses this year.

Provides a very nice large catch radius, Red Zone skills are definitely being observed early.
Nice wide target for Dak, could become a reliable target by the end of camp.
Or he might just get all crazy and go Moss on this league......

Peeps have no ideas what I'm about to unleash.

Dez was a monster in the red zone
I always felt we used him wrong between the 20’s but he earned his check around the goal line

Just his physical traits makes him interesting
He’s a nightmare size for a CB to cover
He should be able to expand off that jump ball to get open underneath a cb. His arms are so long he can just use his body to block out a 5’11” CB lol
The important aspect he has to develop is consistently catch the ball
If he gets that he’s a guy that will be a weapon
