Provides a very nice large catch radius, Red Zone skills are definitely being observed early.
Nice wide target for Dak, could become a reliable target by the end of camp.
Or he might just get all crazy and go Moss on this league......

another training camp hero. remember Rico Gathers!...

he is probably at best will end up on special teams and rarely see the field. if he sees the field a lot, it means we have a lot of injuries to the WR group and that's a bad thing

Well he's definately got the name of a superstar, sounds kinda nice, lol.

Other than that I'm still totally neutral on him, haven't seen anything super awesome so far. He won't be the next Michael Irvin.

As far as the WR situation goes, all that interests me at the moment is whether Lamb, Gallup and Washington will be able to compensate for Coops departure.

The Cowboys will have to carry six WR’s for him to make it. That’s because Brown seems to have a lifelong roster spot. And even with carrying six, he would have to beat out Simi, which at this moment doesn’t look that hard to do.

I’m going to guess that there’ll be an extra WR spot until Gallop returns giving this guys some extra life to standout.

Put me down as “intrigued”!

Too many times in too many training camps, I've seen examples like this of someone making a splash play or wowed by numbers who think they are going to breakout.

I'll pull for him to do his best, but the best WR's regardless of name should make the team.

Vasher does not have to be consistent like a starting WR or 4th (injury replacement) WR. 50% would be bad as a starter but as a redzone specialist it would be great.

Not only is Vasher 6-6 but his arms are almost 36" and he had a 37" vert.

Fehoko 6-4 with stubby 31-5/8" arms and 34" vert.

They can dictate some matchups. Teams with smallish 2nd CBs might have to use the #1 CB on Vasher forcing the #2 to cover CeeDee. Not that Vasher is great but a Jourdan Lewis type CB is going to struggle to cover him.
That’s size and length is just hard to deal with
It opens up lots of red zone options when you have that size. Not just out jumping guys but using that length to just shield a defender off
If he can develop he would be fun for a OC to play with in the red zone

Can't get excited over a few plays at camp. You're setting yourself up for a let down.

Yet that is the basis of CZers / Cowboys fans selecting "pet cats" (thank you "Big Tuna").
Identifying a 6th-7th rounder or UDFA that is a longshot to make the team - be it the 53-man roster or the practice squad - then "attaching" oneself to that player for whatever reason (alumni of the school, from the same hometown, etc.).
Not an excersize I engage in btw.

No question in my mind but what Vasher is a more dynamic receiver than Noah Brown. There's also the lingering question of his ability to provide a legit blocking threat against the opposition. Is it even important enough to make this front office push Noah's blocking skills aside, in favor of adding better receiving help? Will James Washington's foot injury make that question irrelevant? This WR tussle gets more intriguing by the day! I'm loving it.

We need another target as well. They will figure it out quick. Hoping to have a run game. But his jump ball skills will come in handy often.. I hope he remembers to get both feet in bounds. Is it still one foot in college..

Turpin is better.

For those that follow Texas Tech, why didn’t he put up better numbers in college? Seems like a 6’6” superstar would do more in college ball. Especially TT, home of Kingsbury and so many pass happy offenses.

He spent too much time in the tub. He also had a slew of different QB’s. Having said that when he played he was really good.

At something’s I’m sure he is
But he’s not the red zone weapon nor is he an outside receiver. He’s a slot guy with really quick feet and speed. He’s a good return guy
He’s not really even competing for same position on the roster

To be honest with Washingtons injury instead of bringing on others in a panic mode would rather see if Vasher and others already in camp get first crack . Roberson out of Wake Forest an UDFA plus Fehoko etc
