QB (4) Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Lance/Jones?
TE (1) Pitts
T (2) Sewell, Slater
WR (3) Chase, Smith, Waddle

10-notice all offensive players, if a defender is taken, 1 has to slide if 4 QB's do indeed go in front of us.

Based on what we saw happen last year, with 3 elite receivers, it's very possible one could slide, just like we saw with CeeDee. It's also possible 1 QB could be there, but unlikely. Think if one of the Tackles, slide, we probably take them depending if our #1 corner if available.

Would you take a Waddle or Smith? Don't think the Cowboys would, but they may be able to find a trade down partner as both the Giants/Eagles sit right behind us needing another offensive play maker.

I think the 5 QBs are pretty much locks, especially if the 49ers have gone up for Mac Jones as it's rumored to be.

I think Sewell is a lock top 9

I think Pitts is a lock top 9

I think Chase is a lock, best WR

That leaves Waddle, Smith, Slater at 9......then it depends if Denver is on the clock or if they moved up to get QB

I Still think we have the choice of Surtain , Horn, Parsons , one of those WR , maybe Slater

I woukdnt trade with Eagles or Giants, they both need CB too, I'd be bummed if they took our top guy for the sake of an extra 4th

I could see someone in love with Parsons or Surtain after 5. Always surprise picks in the top 10.

Although we all now know the surprise pick is Mac Jones at #3 as in no one was thinking that a month ago.

I’d bet money it’ll be a WR...Smith it Waddle who I like but nowhere near as much as Chase.

Id take Chase at 10, would not take Waddle or Smith.

Sewell. His arm length could drop him. I dont consider Slater as dropping, because I think he is in that range anyways.

Id take Waddle, because he adds something the Cowboys dont really have. Pure speed

I think I would also take him, but don't think they will.

4 QB's gone in the first 5 and maybe the 5th by pick 8. Chase, Pitts and Sewell gone before 10.

Slater is my most likely faller to 10 followed closely by Smith.

I also don't think the first D player is taken at 10. I think someone jumps on Parsons or Surtain, just not enough quality at D in this draft. I can see some trades for quality v quantity.

I wouldn't have a problem if the Cowboys traded all their 3rd day and only ended up with 4, maybe 5, picks, if they're quality. In this draft, not a lot of difference between the players in rounds 4-7 and the UDFA's. How well do they do on 3rd day's?

Not unless they trade Gallup or Lamb. They don't need a 4th WR or a TE.
If they are gamechangers have to consider taking them. You don't want another Randy Moss situation happening again, when they decided to draft need over best player.

The Gents took the OT Thomas last year at 4 and everyone was scratching their heads.

The Moss situation was more about his character and plenty of other teams passed on him because of it.

Cooper or Lamb gamechangers?

They have to build a team and they've done a very mediocre job of that on the D side. Until that changes, there are no gamechangers for this team.

Every team regret passing on Moss. No, neither Cooper or Lamb are generational type of talents. Still plenty of picks to address the defense.

There's always a surprise pick that catches everyone off guard.

It is a foregone conclusion that JAX takes Lawrence but what if Meyer likes Fields better because he knows more about him? Or Wilson?

There are quite a few ways for teams to go in that top 10, particularly from 4 on. ATL can go for Ryan's future replacement, get Ryan protection or weapons or trade out and still get a good pick. They're in the best position in this draft. Could still get a top 10 and a 1st for next year from a team taking a rookie QB, which usually means a good pick the next season.

Rumblings have begun that some clubs, at least, are uncomfortable with taking the opt-puts. One owner of a club with a top 10 pick (maybe the Dolphins) is said to be in that category.

Plausible. Look how the draft order changes from preseason to the end of any college season. Guys emerge and guys disappoint. The opt-outs had the opportunity to do neither. Some clubs truly might be afraid of a player they haven't seen on the field in more than a year.

Sewell, Slater, Chase and Parsons are opt-outs. Lance was able to play in one game.

I would think that any one of those players could fall further than anticipated.
