Thanks for participating... It would have been nice to see Staubach play and not just from clips, etc. Of course I appreciate his impact, just probably not fully. And the fact that he's all-around amazing person (from what i can tell) doesn't hurt.

Is Dirk really held in that high esteem in the Metroplex? I dont live in DFW, so Im curious as to why.

Bye-week topic fun topic, and I know it was done a year or so back in the DMN, but thought it would be fun to start again:

If you were to give the title of "Mr/Ms. Dallas" representing the best of Dallas sports to someone (beloved, identifiable, deserving of the title), who would it be? Also if you could list your era/age I think that would be interesting.

For me, and its not even close, its Dirk.

I'm 36, so I was prime time youth for the 90s Superbowls, pre-mid 80s is too early for me.
