Who is the best player on our Team?

I Have said it before and I will say it again. In my humble opinion It is Demarcus WAre. He can turn out to be one of the great-ones.

I have to go with Ware as well. At least at this point. Hard to evaluate against other positions but I would have to say Ware.

I think (Homer alert!) Romo COULD become one of the greats if he contimues to develop.

For talent at the position I have to say probably Ware- but McBriar has to be mentioned if you are talking all positions including kickers.

I think Ware is a great choice, but I am going to go with TNEW. He is a great cover guy, plays the run better than the average CB, could be an Elite punt returner if he was back there full time and I think could fill in as a WR in a pinch.

I would say Ware also. He is a complete player and his play is above average or better in all facets of his position.

I agree, if we're talking about who is the best player on our team relative to others players that play that position in the league. McBriar would have to be near the top.

However it's hard to say "The punter is the best player on our team." so
I'll follow the crowd and say Ware, he's the complete linebacker.

though he is far from my favorite player, you can't have this discussion without mentioning TO. As far as physical ability, history, and drive, he has to be one of if not the best on the team.

D. Ware, Newman, Witten... all deserve some mention.

Its interesting that Romo is viewed as undeveloped but not Ware. I think Ware is certainly a contender for "best player" title but actual production I don't think has surpassed Romo by much to this point, if at all.

I think both are expected to be the kingpins of their respective units but we're looking for more from both than just a repeat of 2006.

Except for Newman, and potentially TO, I don't think anyone else is even close and that's not intended to slight or disrespect anyone. I just think Ware & Romo have that much potential.

My thoughts exactly. Ware is a great player at his position, but he couldn't help the team in all phases of the game the way Newman could.
