It came over me that. Who is the best WR we have drafted since Irvin excluding Dez Bryant?

Is it Crayton, Harper, someone else? I really don't have a clue. Hoping someone can enlighten me here.

In any case, IMO Crayton.

Well its really just a question I put in a thread since the only two I can name that had a significant impact on the team are Harper and Crayton.

Agree.
I never liked that we got rid of him before we saw him on the field and healthy.
Jimmy Smith and Miles Austin were similar in that both were seen as backups at best until they got on the field and showed what they could do.
Not saying that Jimmy Smith was always seen as a backup because he was drafted in the 2nd round. We just gave up on this guy way too soon in my opinion. I really think we thought Austin was a good player but I wonder if we always knew just how good he was until he proved it on the field. Jimmy was injured and that is a big reason we got rid of him...and it was a mistake.

Old school here but the receiver that we were trying to get at #1 was Rocket Ismail. I believe we traded up for the pick and Rocket decided to go to the CFL and we ended up getting Russell Maryland.

I remember following the events on that draft day.

Yeah... I remember too. What a dissapointment he was when he eventually came to the Boys after his first year.
