Dallas' goal/focus on the DL should be to make Crawford/Bass/Hayden part of the back-up rotation....THAT would make the team stronger if they can get legit guys up front on the DL and have these guys rotating in...I like the idea of Melton a lot...

Wait, so you are saying Crawford and Bass are not going terrorize the NFL? How dare you insult ingredients of the secret sauce, how dare you sir.

Their DC, DL coach and LB coach have primarily been 3-4 guys.

Crawford is another potential guy that will never pan out. A guy that was anointed before he ever really contributed. The guys we were rotating in this past year would give us more than he's going to give us...

I'd look at your response the same way I do those that anoint him as the next Reggie White or Ben Bass.

We don't know what we have there. The injury only makes him more of a question mark.

Correct. They are "thinking about it" for future seasons, which means they are transitioning. Much like Dallas was the first two seasons that Parcells coached.

Well then they'll have no interest in the one dimensional Aaron Donald.

I hope Dallas follows suit. Take versatile players.

If there is a target it's Byrd. Jerry says he's happy with the safety position but I don't believe that, who could be at out state? Earl Thomas is ut of the question so Jarius could easily be it.

Stephen Jones did make it point a specific point to say on radio the other day that say they wanted players that could excel in multiple schemes.

Gave me pause regarding Donald at 16.

I'll tell you, if we could work something out with the Rams, I would be really interested in Kendall Langford. The Rams have some cap issues and he might be a guy they look to for cap relief. If we could get a guy like Langford, we would address a need position with a player who would fit our scheme and is still young enough to see an entire 5 year deal.

It's a huge factor. The short sighted will say he fits perfectly into what we're doing now but these draft picks are an investment for the future. Donald is a scheme specific player.
