You have to understand the level of incompetence I am capable of. It's a good thing I married well. I even told my wife that he wasn't listed on IMDB. Either was John Lithgow for that movie. So after I found who he was here, I realized my mistake. I was looking at "The day after tomorrow" in IMDB. Different movie. Of course they won't be listed there.
A celebrity face search can be done from a video but it involves copying-and-pasting a cropped image. Here are the steps using a Microsoft Windows shortcut and Microsoft Edge as a browser:
- Pause the video where the face of the person is clearly seen
- On your keyboard, press-and-hold the Windows Shortcut key, the Shift key. and letter S key in that order
- Your cursor should change to a plus sign
- Using the cursor, hold-and-drag it across the person's face in the still video in the shape of a square box
- Release the cursor. A cropped screenshot has been copied of the person's face only.
- Open another browser window or tab and go to Bing.com
- Within the Bing search bar on its right are three symbols. Hover your cursor over the middle symbol. It should show the description "Search using an image". Click on this symbol.
- A "Try Visual Search" box will open on the screen
- On your keyboard, press-and-hold the CTRL key and letter V key in that order. This will start the image search
Bing will show the results of the search. Usually, its best match can be seen at the top middle right with the name of the celebrity. I have not tried this process in other browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, etc., but the same steps should not be that different I think.
