Who is this Year's Surprise Cut?

Title says it all. Who do you think will be year’s surprise cut as they pare down the roster?
Dak Prescott. We've been prepping Milton to take his place and brought in Howell to be Milton's backup.

Houston is making the team. Liufau for special teams, I think. Williams is gone. Mafah is gone. I think Tioa has a chance and Bullard.
I think you have it reversed. Williams is a special teamer. I think he makes it for that alone. Houston would be the #5 edge and doesn't play any ST. That roster spot is more than likely to be an ST.

I think Houston is thr surprise cut. He may even be traded

If that happens you’re going to see this board go crazy with Randy Moss comparisons lol
I doubt it....they are nowhere near the same kind of receiver.

But Brown has made more plays in preseason than just about any receiver I can remember, AND he has lit it up in practice as well. Last year the big name at WR was Holden but he didn't do anything like what Brown has.

Very good chance that Pickens is not around next year....so we would be looking at Flournoy as the #2 and we really wouldn't have much behind him if we let Brown go. Brown has done more than Mingo as a WR and I would start him if it was a choice between the two.

I agree with everything you said.

I’m not comparing their talent at all. Just imagining the fan reaction. I’ve already seen a couple of people talking about the cowboys missing on Moss when they talk about the possibility of cutting Brown.

I dont see Houston going anywhere. I thought Liafau was a gonner too until recently. Sam has been playing too late in games. They don't seem to be worried about him getting hurt

MY bet would be Hooker.

I think Houston is tradeable but I really don't want to see it happen. I like him as a spot rusher.

Hooker is more likely one of the starting S's. Downs is likely to play more of a Nickel CB role than as a true S

I would hate for Houston to get cut he’s played in real games and made plays against starting OL
Yes he can make plays. But it comes to numbers. I see them keeping 9 at LB. Maybe they keep 10 of the go one less at DB or QB as I have them keeping all 3 for now.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t know if BROWN, can make the 53 we have so many good receivers
People are acting like Mingo is better than Brown just because he's made a few catches and barely stopped someone from returning a fumble all the way back instead of just 50 yards. Yeah, he had the long td catch from Milton but he beat a backup on a nine route. Let's not forget this guy couldn't do jack except block for a year and a half since he's been here.

Only in preseason, which is not a good way to choose.

Yeah, I really don't think it matters. Neither is a game changer.
