I for sure am, but I have been greatly disappointed by the Xbox 360 version greatly. I recently got rid of my original xbox because of the fact Forza 2 came out and I downloaded and burnt Madden on a DVD.

I started playing it and the gameplay isn't bad, it just needs some tweaks in every area.

I for one couldn't stand going through the menus in franchise and had problems with lag in offline games.

And to hear that 2k sports might be releasing a NFL title makes me just excited because although I am a Madden fanboy the franchise is starting to grow old.

I had heard that 2k sports would allow users to make NFL logo teams and change player names to match actual rosters, but sadly that ain't happening. It will be all generic, except for a few legendary NFL players.

And all in the $50-60 price range.

More reasons why I don't currently own a next generation video console (360, PS3, Wii).

I don't own any game systems.

Edit: Unless you consider Nintendo a game system :D

if all you play is sports games there really is no need to. Although i like playing madden on my tv laying in bed. But i play many genres of games. i need a system, and i dont need to update my system like i woudl have to update my computer.

I'm actually waiting for a Wii football game that's physically interactive such as their tennis and baseball games are. I'd love to be able to have to go through the throwing motions and scrambling motions of throwing a football in a video game.

Looking more forward to NCAA 08. They added trick plays this year...like the Statue of Liberty, etc. I always get Madden too, but I play NCAA all the way through the year, I tire of Madden easily.

It makes me shake my head that people are actually impressed with EA putting plays in the game that every team has in the playbook in real life.

It's not so much that they are putting it in, but that it could actually work on a game console. That impresses me...go ahead, shake your head.

The flea flicker in Madden usually works at least once a game for me.....Romo to Glenn TD :D

They have a halfback pass in NCAA that works, but not for the big yardage that it should. Basically because the RB has little to none throwing ability he cannot throw it down the field very far.

Also...reverses rarely work too...I wish they did, those are fun.
