It does, but let's not forget they were taking him out at the goal line in favor of Zeke too. I researched his college stats the other day, his most rushing touchdowns were just 6. Some players have the nose for the endzone, some do not. Just look at those 2nd round running backs, Hampton had 15, Johnson had 21 in good conferences. Agree, to disagree, but don't want Dowdle on this team next year.

Do you think that was a talent thing or a Cowboys being idiots thing? Zeke has arguably the lowest YPC in the NFL over the last 2 years. Zeke shouldn’t even have been in the team.

Dowdle was not a feature back at South Carolina. The most carries he had in a season came in his freshman year (133). It's sort of apples-to-oranges...Omarion Hampton had 281 carries in 2024 alone. Dowdle had 428 carries in four years at SC.
