Who is willing to accept 40 turnovers by the QB this year?

Do you feel better now? Should I get you more Valium?

Good - we're making light of it.

It was pointless for me to expect something I knew 10 posts ago you couldn't provide ...... I've beat that dead horse before.

I've never had valium, is it good? I'll try anything once.

LOL.......

Do we have a point?

Sure we have a point ........ what was it now ........?

Oh yeah, something about Drew Bledsoe having the smelliest feet of any QB in history ........ or was it that he tripped over his feet more than any QB in history .......?

Something like that.

Stautner and ABQCowboy, you are both great posters. Sometimes we dig so deep into an issue that we lose sight of the big picture. People may make statements that are untrue, but it just be the way they feel. I'm sure everyone has been right or wrong in their lives. Pride won't let us admit it, but I for one, don't have a problem with changing a viewpoint on a board. Shouldn't be a sign of ignorance.

Both of your sides are well defined. But I have to tell you, I'm not alone I know, I don't really care about his past.
All I care about is if he can get it done this year. Right now, I have no reason to believe he can get it done, cause in his two biggest tests this year, he has looked horrible. My eyes don't lie to me, regardless of whatever numbers you want to throw in my face.

I dismissed the Jag game as a one time thing, maybe he hurt his back, whatever. But this is becoming a trend that can't be ignored.

I have no problem at all with people saying how they feel ..... as long as it is recognized that is what it is.

Facts are facts and feelings are feelings and opinions are opinions and each should be presented accordingly.

Frankly, I'm not overly concerned with his past either, and some have misconstrued my posts as meaning I'm a Bledsoe supporter. Frankly I think it's a borderline decision at this point whether to stick with Bledsoe or not, and if Bledsoe has one more game similar to Sunday or Week 1 I will be itching to see Romo play.

I'm actually already itching, but I can understand Parcells being hesitant to pull the trigger just yet.

Agreed, you are saying that you want the proper facts out there, that's cool.

Heck, I don't know if Drew has the worse TO ratio, fumbles, whatever. Maybe true or not true, but it looks like he is the worse of all time out there right now, lol, and if there were worse than him, they needed to be benched too. I know my eyes aren't lying to me, he looks awful out there under the pressure of good opposition. And like you, I'm just about sick of it.

I'm willing to give him some rope for a little while in hope that he can turn this around, but if he continues like this, I'll hang him by that rope.

He does look horrible - and he has to feel Romo's breath on his neck - as well as a monkey on his back. It has to weigh heavy on his mind - especially with the added worry about Parcells putting a shoe in his butt. He has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders ..........

With all that it's a wonder he can function at all.

Dallas doesn't need a QB that's going to win games. They just need one who isn't going to lose games. Bledsoe loses games. Just look at our two losses. The Cowboys went into the second half in position to win both of those games until Bledsoe gave up multiple turnovers.

Another game like Sunday and it may feel like an elephant on his back - and he will probably be crushed under the weight.

I will agree with that for Week 1. Bledsoe just wasnt himself then. But last week goes alot deeper than just Bledsoe. Everytime Dallas regained the lead the defense promptly gave it back. The playcalling was strange aswell. From the start of the game it was clear Dallas wouldnt be able to pick up the blitz but there werent to many short / quick routes. It seemed like they were content with 5 step drops in hopes of a big play. The two times they brought in the offense with runs and short passes they got TDs.

Some can convincingly argue that week 1 & week 5 he was himself, with week 2 & 4 being the aberations. Week 3 was a bye week.

Weeks 2 and 4 happened to come against two of the worst pass rushing teams in the league.

Washington's 29th in sacks per game and Tennessee's 27th.

7 ints, 3 fumbles over four games = 40 screw ups by our QB this year. Could Romo be any worse? Bledsoe usually has been strong early and faded late. What is the problem this year? Maybe our WR's are horrible no talent bums. Maybe our TE's do not understand the game. Maybe JJ and MBIII are clowns.

What do you think?

Whoops, I got flamed for pointing out the same thing yesterday.

Get you fire extinguisher ready.

Its funny that you get posts about JJ being on pace to rush for 1500 yards this season and nobody has a problem with that, but if you point out that Drew Bledsoe is on pace to throw 27 Int's and fumble 12 times, then it becomes silly to use projected stats this early in the season.

How can anyone convincingly argue that those weeks were normal for Bledsoe? That is down right ******** to even think that.

The post right after mine claimed it. Many posts since Sunday have claimed it. When the game is big, he has a history of faltering. They can argue it is normal.

As has been pointed out, Bledsoe has lost only one fumble, which projects to four fumbles lost and 32 total turnovers, not 40.

It's not silly to project stats after four games. But you have to realize when a projection is distorted by unusual games. Bledsoe has had two games that might be considered "outliers" -- two three-interceptions games. He had only one all of last season. What are the chances that he'll have SIX more this season? If he doesn't, then there is very little chance that he'll throw 28 picks this season. In Julius' case, however, he has had NO "outliers" -- he has rushed for 72, 94, 122 and 100 yards. Those are all normal games. If he had three 70-yard games and a 200-yard game, THEN you could say that his projection might be distorted. But that's not the case.
