Here is my long, relatively unsolicited breakdown that doesn't really answer the question.

I love Spencer, but have a feeling that we could get him later. I'd love a trade-down that got us Spencer in the early second (or, we could hold on to our 1st and trade up in the second to get him).

I'm not a fan of Moss at all. He doesn't have the production OR the measurables. I don't understand why he is a highly rated prospect, to be honest.

I know that everyone has their personal favorite WR, but I have a really hard time picking one. I really think that they could all excel in the NFL. That being said, I would be a little upset if we got Bowe or Jarrett at 22 because I think we could trade down a bit and still pick either one up.

I don't like Houston. Ahmad Carrol v.2. And that has nothing to do with the fact that they both went to Arkansas.

Nelson and Merriweather are both intriguing. Honestly, if it wasn't for Merry's character concerns, he would be my obvious choice. The guy has all the skills to be a star. Nelson doesn't have quite the ceiling, but I see him being a solid player in the league for a long time.

Staley wouldn't be a bad choice, but I think that his draft stock is benefiting from a weak OT class. I think that Daryn Colledge was a much better prospect than him last year. I'd rather take a flier on an OT later on day 1 or very early on day 2.

No to Blalock. He's probably the third best OG in this class, and doesn't really look like a first round prospect to me (despite all the 'Horns that will scream otherwise). Plus, I really think that you can find quality guards much later in the draft, JMO.

So, in other words, I would be happy with Spencer, any of the 4 WR's, and both of the FS's...though I think Spencer, Bowe, and Jarrett could be had later in round one if we could find a willing trading partner.

All that being said, I will be crossing my fingers that Revis falls to us.

Bump for those that didn't get on record. C'mon wusses.

Get on record for what? The post clearly asks "Who do you want at #22?."

Who I want and who I think they may take are 2 entirely different things.

Right. But if, for example, Ginn turned out to be a major bust, we could go back and laugh at all the people that chose Ginn. ;)

I really can't believe Jarrett is the 4th WR on this thing. Really the only one I think is justified would be Meachem...

Revis and Nelson will be gone.

Ross at #22 is my pick, but we could get McCauley, Harrell or Blalock in a trade down.

I don't want Houston or Staley.

why the love for spencer? he is not a first round talent. too slow, no enough explosion off the corner. We have needs at CB and WR. Just say no to another LB.

I have a feeling, that Jerry will trade down with San Diego at #30 and get their 3rd rounder.

Ask nearly every offensive lineman in this draft. When four or five of the top lineman ALL mention Spencer as the best pass rusher they've faced in college...that's saying something. It's enough for me, although I'd like to see us drop back to the 27-30 range to take him.

How can Ginn be getting that many votes? I expect Concord to vote for him, but it just seems CLEAR to me he's the 4th best WR after Johnson :D

How did you know I was going to vote for Ginn?:D

Apparently there are alot of closet Ginn fans out there.:D

10 yd times:
Spencer: 1.64
Ware: 1.62
Shaun Phillips: 1.72
Joey Porter: 1.63
Adalius Thomas: 1.61
Kamerion Wimbley: 1.60

Spencer has enough speed coming off of the corner. That being said, 22 is high for him because he lacks the agility to cover and isn't a complete player.

I would be happy if we got Merriweather in the first, however, I chose Spencerr because I think we need a experienced pass-rusher to compliment D-Ware...but I think Merriweather is the better player and will help out in the secondary, which is a weak IMO.
