My favorite player is Roger Staubach from my childhood days.

It is hard being a Cowboy fan as long as I have and narrow my favorite to just 1 but if I had to pick just one then Bob Lilly would be it

I liked La Roi.

I remember liking Everson Walls from my youth. Not sure why. I doubt it's because I truly understood how well he played. I think it's because of his name.

There are different once based on the era.

Bob "Mr. Cowboy" Lilly, Roger Staubach, Randy White, Jay Novacek, Larry Allen, and currently Jason Witten.

If I absolutely had to pick one. Probably Mr. Cowboy. The man is iconic in my eyes and is the epitome of what the Dallas Cowboys franchise was to become. He was the first overall draft choice, the first in the Ring of Honor, and the first Cowboy into the Hall of Fame and part of the NFL's 75th Anniversary team. (11) time Pro Bowler, (7) time All-Pro, help take the Cowboys to the playoffs 11 of his 14 year career. Considered tby many to be most dominating defensive linemen in NFL history. Completely undefendable by one, smashing double teams and even dropping sacks when triple teamed.

If you only know the name, you must find old videos of Lilly to actually appreciate how dominating he was. He could make entire offensive lines look foolish.

Lee Roy Jordan.

I met quite a few Cowboys players in the 70s but he is my favorite. He was a real scrapper!

It's interesting to think that guys like Jordan, DD. Lewis, and Thomas Henderson all played at 215 or lighter and now safties, like Roy, are much bigger than that!

Current player is DeMarcus Ware. My all time favorite player is Roger Staubach, closely followed by Emmitt Smith.

I hope the Cowboys pick up one of VT's top guys (Flowers, Hall, or Adibi) this year so I can watch at least one Hokie Cowboy.
