Who is your favorite defensive player

I just think it's a weird question because they play so bad as a unit. Who's your favorite on the second worst unit in cowboys history? Does it matter? Anyway, carry on.

Very interesting question. It says a lot about the defense when you struggle to come up with an answer.

A tougher question would be "you are the GM, you have to blow up this defense and can only bring back one player".

Even that question makes you think.

I guess I would have to go with Scandrick.

But it is pretty incredible there are so many players that if they were gone tomorrow that nobody would miss.

I would have no problem flushing the entire defensive roster. Including the coordinator and scheme.

He gets paid to do nothing but rehab year in and year out who wouldn't envy that

Lee for me, hands down. Then Barry Church, because I admire how hard he's worked to first make the roster, then win ST snaps, then win defensive snaps and then to become one of the better players on our defense.

Scandrick is a good choice. I like Rolando McClain as well. He can be my favorite, even though his recent play hasn't been as beastly as his early season work.

Orlando Scandrick is my choice.

Tyrone Crawford might be the most talented. Give him a quality 1-tech and better play at DE and he'll start turning pressures into sacks.

crawford is continuing to develope and im loving watching him do so and improve

Romac is my favorite. As for Sean lee, when healthy, he's the best player with or without Romac on this team. Lee would lead the team in tackles if he were playing and probably by a lot. Does that make him better than Romac? Probably....

Scandrick is a nickel cornerback in this league. Very telling he is considered the best this defense has by many.

I can understand that mistrust and it's more than fair. I'd like him back, but definitely not for a huge guaranteed deal, even though of course we can always do whatever we want with the salary cap. Right Mr. Jones?

Yep. My answer was originally going to be "Our 2015 1st round pick" but I really do like Sean Lee and Rolando McClain.
