The wonderlic is useless. Henson scored in the high 30s and Marino scored a 16. Has nothing to do with football smarts.

And my pick is Russell (he'll be the biggest bust since he'll be the #1 pick).
It's not useless. It's a decent measure of intelligence. Someone that scores in the 30s is likely more intelligent than someone that scores in the 20s.

Does that mean that the guy in the 30s is a better player? No, of course not.

But it does mean he's likely more intelligent. Intelligence is just one aspect in the game. It doesn't take a whole lot to play the game, but you can't say that Russell lacks intelligence sufficient to play the game when he scores in the 20s.

The Russell vs Quinn reminds me of the Manning vs Leaf debate.
I think Quinn has been over-analyzed.

Quinn- Stat padder, never won a big game

Peterson- injury prone, can barely survive a college season in one piece.

I have hopes of 4-5 players making it, what you talkin' bout bust, as in one? More like who wins the lottery, as in which team gets the few actually good players there will be. Most these players will turn crap, some will be backup, a handful will start and even fewer will be stars.

As for the "1". Calvin Johnson. He just went to Detroit.

I think Russell will definitely not do as well with the Raiders even compared to Detroit. The Raiders gave up something like 4.5 sacks per game. Not sure of the exact figure but they won't protect the guy. He does have that huge size so maybe he won't take quite so many. I do believe he eventually will do ok.

Peterson is likely to miss a significant amount of time but talent wise won't be a bust.

Ginn will not do well as a WR although bust might be harsh. He will do better than OK in PR.
