IDK about you guys, but my whipping boy next season is Morris Claiborne. This guy has been sleep walking thru his first two seasons. Considering LSU's knack for calling out lazy players in their program, I'm surprised there were no warning signs for this guy. Terrible trade compounded by terrible toughness on and off the field. Does he know how to tackle without getting injured? The guy was called out twice by my count last season by Broaddus for his lack of passion for the game. He better come in 10 lbs stronger next season and ready to PLAY. He is way too comfortable in the trainer's room. 3rd season...this is the time we need to see the Pro Bowl play from this guy.

Claiborne had a tough year man. His Dad dies and then he has I think his first child all within a week of each other. Not to mention he was banged up all year with the separated shoulder and the hamstring injury.

It was just a bad year for the guy.

The only significant constants remaining on this team are Romo and Garrett. Witten is there, but TEs have never been nearly a factor as coaching or QB play. We've gotten rid of just about all of the old guard, so if results aren't better this year, then how can you really look elsewhere other than the constants?

Was and still is Garrett for me. Player wise - Matt Johnson, my patience is real thin there.

Garrett
Johnson
Carter
Romo (only because he will make some bonehead play or audible out of a run play causing DM to blow his already thin gasket).

Folks are aiming too low. I fully expect the fan base here to turn on Witten and Lee next year.

Witten starting to slow down. Not acceptable to fans.

Lee will get injured again and fans will go, "Pay Cut or Get Cut!", but we won't be able to do either because it will be too much dead money. Resentment builds. "If he was a leader he'd take a pay cut," they'll say. "Devonte Holloman will at least stay on the field," they'll say.

The corners are going to continue to struggle until they get some legitimate help from their safeties and some sort of pass rush.

Just based on odds right now it would seem to have to be an offensive player if you were going to choose a guy at this moment in time.

Defense has what? 5 identifiable starters?

Tyrone Crawford if he fails to make it through training camp yet again. 81st overall selection in 2012 draft? Go ahead and kill me.

I agree.

I'm thinking the kids gonna look at that car he bought the ole man and play with a nasty chip on his shoulder.

The guys got the talent. Dez can fire this guy up.

Get a viable pass rush and a serious talent at safety and watch all 3 of the young corners play rise.
