Who plays slot CB?

Does Claiborne or Carr move over in the Nickel or do they put the 3rd CB there with Scandrick out?

I think Sterling Moore has experience playing the slot. I'm guessing the the 3rd CB is either Moore or Mitchell.

Carr seems like a poor candidate for slot CB -- he is a big corner with not the greatest quickness.

More interested in the roster effects. Thought we'd keep just five corners, but with Scandrick out, we might keep six unless Dallas feels Jakar Hamilton can fill in if necessary.

The suspension possibly bought a reprieve for B.W. Webb, but I'd rather see Dallas look for an older, cagey vet who might can play a temporary role ... unless Webb somehow turns it on.

I would think Moore would have the inside track, with Mitchell next in line. I am pretty sure I can speak for the most of the guys on CZ and say that we've seen enough of BW Webb... thanks but no thanks

Well, whoever they put in there, he better be getting the practice reps now, and send Scandrick to the 4th team for reps.
They will need the extra practice.

The defensive woes, even though I try to stay positive, has a way to suck the enthusiam right out of one....LOL

Yes, it almost has to be him if he is healthy. Neither Carr or Claiborne have played the slot for the Cowboys.

Scandrick will not count against the 53 while suspended. They can keep 5 CBs to start the season and cut one when he returns.
