I hope they don't use a roster spot for an extra CB in lieu of keeping a 6th WR. Try to get by with 1 less DB for the 1st 4 games instead. I feel a 6th WR if the better player is worth more than a CB that normally would have been released.

Scandrick will not count against the 53 while suspended. They can keep 5 CBs to start the season and cut one when he returns.

I think Sterling Moore has experience playing the slot. I'm guessing the the 3rd CB is either Moore or Mitchell.

If he'd have had a little more speed he might have gotten 60 million.

Thanks, WG...I think that Moore gets the early nod. Being that it is still exhibition time, Mitchell and Webb get an improved opportunity.

A side element that arrives, is experience and game film to improve and observe from. That part is a strong addition to the secondary.

The corners and young safeties will be learning together and growing as well.

The question is who plays the slot,but the subsequent question is who becomes the top backup. We just went from 3 solid corners when healthy and a question at #4 to having a ? starting and a possible roster casualty playing regularly due to a minor sprain, pull or twist.....frightening.

I am looking forward to see Mitchell in the game against the Ravens, to see if he is called less for holding, or whatever the refs are screwing up this year, with the calls.
Thing is, was it Mitchell, or the refs being flag happy, or a little of both.
But I think his upside is great.
