Who remembers Tony Pollard?

[America's Cowboy]

Wow, miss that player...

[big dog cowboy]

I do. He's not that guy any more but is still in the league playing for the Titans.

[GMO415]

He wasn't all that. He won't even be remembered in DAL history.

[GimmeTheBall!]

Best backup in recent memory.

[plymkr]

I miss Pollard. I miss the speed.

What kind of idiot coach is running this much when you can throw the ball away? McCarthy needed to go….

[DCreppinBoysfan]

he was so important to the team. When he got injured in the 49ers game, that was the final blow for the cowboys in a close game.

McCarthy and Jerry was too loyal to a worthless Zeke. I rmemeber patterning to the 49ers. Postgame. Podcast and the multiple hair aggreeing that once Pollard went down, they felt immensely better about the 49ers chance to win because even though he wasn’t having a great game, pollard was the cowboys wild card. He could break one at any time with run game or pass out the backfield. He was McCafrey lite for the cowboys. They knew they didn’t have to worry about Zeke. And Dak was having one of those “deer in the headlights” game.

Those last two seasons of Jerry forcing the cowboys to make Zeke have a role was brutal dude clearly didn’t have anything left I the tank but Jerry had to honor that contract.

That will always be the downfall of the cowboys. Most of the other teams will Move on from a player who dramatically fallen off but not Jerry’s cowboys. Once he pays them, we’re stuck with them regardless of performance.

[charron]

Tony misses that player too. But he's still out there putting on the pads.

[Jipper]

Hes on my fantasty team...thats how bad my injury situation is currnetly

You are probably right but he’s probably one of the better backs to come through here in recent memory. Aside from Zeke….you might have to go back to Barber….
