Who said this? "It seems whoever leaves us gets a Super Bowl ring. We're a mess."

I think in most cases, the losing teams get rings too.

I know the Cowboys teams that lost to Pittsburgh did.

I still think it was Taylor.

Why would anyone even bring up a "losers ring" in a conversation?

Because at least the loser plays the final game, everyone else can only watch?

that makes no sense at all.

Clearly the player saying that has a desire to get a ring. I doubt its the losers ring that person wants.

oops...nevermind. Lilja didn't play for KC

Heres a alpha listing for the Colts 06-07 season with how each was acquired.

It was probably Jason Taylor.

Both Welker and Seau left the dolphins for the pats, and both got rings.

It could be Patrick Willis. After TO left the 49ers for the Eagles, he got a ring.

:D

(I know you realized you were wrong, just had to have some fun)

Doubt it was a Cowboy who said it, but the real story here should be....

the way TO helped the reporter out. Man I really had TO pegged wrong when he was rumored to come here. He is nothing like the Eagles made him out to be. I am so glad he is a Cowboy.

Well it's a player who thinks their days are numbered with their current team. Williams immediately leaps to mind -- but I can't think of anyone the Cowboys let go who won a ring.

What about Lance Briggs?

What about Jason Taylor -- I believe this article was pre-trade?

Jason Taylor was who jumped to mind for me also.
