I just heard on Vancouver radio that TO jerseys are the biggest selling football jerseys in Canada.

Unlike you guys down in Texas and most of the US who have choices as to what Cowboy jersey to buy, we are more limited up here. Most stores get one jersey only. A few years back it was Roy Williams, last year Bledsoe or Johnson, this year Owens. In other words, if you are a Cowboy fan you buy the one Champs, Foot Locker etc are selling. This year it is Owens (next year probably Romo).

Cowboys = Canada's Team

I have no use for Canada after not backing us on Iraq - they mean nothing to me, their Gov't that is.

Be carefull You dont have the Facts, That was the french and if you want to get into a political debate, send me a phone number where I can fill you in, Dont blame Canada for that, Blame them for allowing the french to rule them and be a voice for them

And this is a very good thread because I grew up in french Canada and became a Cowboy fan there. So they are north Americas team.

I have no problem with that, I think this should be discussed to shed some light on things and not have distention among members but then again I like to talk and discuss, while others like to make excuses,

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure Mexico is technically part of North America.

As for the original post, the Cowboys might be the most popular football team here in Canada, but the Toronto Maple Leafs are truly Canada's team.

As for the pathetic Iraq war comment, it's not even worth dignifying with a comment (plus I don't want to get banned.)

Actually the Montreal Canadiens are Canada's Team. Unlike the Leafs unilingual Englis fan base, the Canadiens represent all of Canada, French, English, fans in Quebec and in the other nine provinces, worldwide recognition and all of our games are on national tv on RDS etc This year we are even the best of the six Canadian based teams

Even better 24 Cups to 11 :cool:

as for the rest, yes Mexico is part of North America hence they are part of NAFTA.

North American Free Trade Agreement chose to include Mexico because it opened competition up to non-unionized labor forces but geographically speaking North America is comprised of two large Western nations, one a Super Power, the other a British Commonwealth.
