The OP makes a good point guys, if Romo says "hell no" to playing with TO and either Jerry or Wade or Garrett force Romo to play with TO, it is going to turn out bad.

You cant force Romo to play with a guy he doesnt want on the team, just for practicality sakes. Romo with either avoid throwing to him or throw bad balls to him (intentially high or worm burners).

I think Jerry has a one-on-one sit down with Romo and gets Romo's feelings on the whole situation. Romo is not going to open up and speak freely with Garrett or Wade, but Jerry is the guy paying him $100 million.

If Tony says "TO stays" to Jerry, then the decision is made. Otherwise, I think he gets released.

We build around Romo, this is not even open for discussion. That gigantic, guaranteed contract kinda makes it an easy decision.

So yes, it does matter greatly what the franchise QB says about the WR core and who should go and who should stay.

Yes, the coach should be the one deciding such things, while taking into consideration the needs and wants of his QB. So I agree with you AND the original poster.

For a coach to be the best coach he can be, he must consider what will make his players better. He has to form his game plan around the weapons he has, not the other way around. His main weapon is Romo, and it's Wade's job to give Romo what he needs as long as it doesn't deter from the grand scheme of things and undermine the team.
