I saw him limping after 1 play.

It is interesting that they were comfortable with Weems as the backup with Mills on the inactive list. Did they sign Mills because they were worried about Weems being the backup OR was it because they are worried about Free's health?

Your BFF Broaddus thinks it's more about Free than Weems.

Is Chaz Green supposed to return this year?

It will probably depend on whether or not they think he can help this year. They will probably test him out after week 6 and then see if its worth it to take him off IR.

Free's ankle is probably still a little weak. He will probably limp around a little bit at the end of a lot of games. That doesn't mean it will stop him from doing his job. Its a management thing, like Romo's back last year.

The rook for sure. And now it's looking like a good thing they've been working him at left guard instead of right tackle. It sucks to have anyone go down on our o-line but this is the one scenario where I don't think we'll fall off much, if at all, with Leary going down and Collins presumably moving into the starting lineup.

I thought Collins had some miss assignment but also picked things up good to. Playing between Tyron and Fred is a huge difference then playing in between Weems and the other guy that is sitting at home

Bernie is the vet. So he would get the call. Collins will be on the active list to replace Bernie if someone else in the middle of the O line goes out.

Agree, we all KNOW that Collins is more talented but he's young and we're going on the road to play the Eagles. It'll be Bernie IMHO
