Who Thinks Romo Will Play on Sunday?

Unfortunately, no, which may mean bad things next weekend. After the last two weeks, there is just no doubt that Romo makes this offense go. MBIII will continue to see eight and nine men in the box until Romo is back under Center.

I say we change up our play calling and just punt on any 3rd and long situations.

When it was 1st reported that he would miss 3 games I thought there was no way he would miss the Giants game. I still think/hope that he sat out the past 2 games to get as heathy as he can for the Giants game. So I'm saying yes he will play. I think he should at least try.

This game is huge.

I say he will be available to play, but will not start.

If dallas gets into early trouble, he may come in.

If the team is in trouble early, it is over and we should save him. The only hope we have is if he starts.

Romo...no way
Bollinger...unlikely
Johnson...please play great defense and keep the game close...I think we'll get a couple of gifts from the NY offense, which has been struggling.

I started a thread on this last night. I was sure the original diagnosis was the injury could keep him out up to 4 weeks.

My interpretation of that from the jump was that since the Giants game was three weeks away, he'd almost certainly go for it then.

Up to four weeks means a max of four weeks.

Listen, I DON'T WANT ROMO TO PLAY IF THEIR IS A SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED REAL RISK.

However, if he can function close to 100% and the increased risk is minimal, he needs to start.

He needs to start because we can not lose this game and have any realistic hope of winning the NFC East.

We'd have to win out and finish 12-4. Even if that senario played out, I still don't like our chances.

The Giants would be 7-1 with a win over us. Assuming we won the rematch in Dallas giving them another loss, we'd still need them to lose 2 of thier other 7 games just to get into a tie-breaker.
