I thought Jerry did a real good job last night. Especially when he said "He's a Cowboy!"

he really had that "pumped up" sorta tone to his voice throughout the majority of the speech

I don't think I've ever heard him speak like that before

has he?

He kept it relatively short and no tears shed so it was all good.

actually that's funny..

before the speech, I was just holding in my laughter waiting to let it out at the first string of "uh's".....

did he even say "uh" once?

he probably took a nice sized swig of ol' Johnnie Walker before hitting the stage

I thought he did great too. He held back some and kept it short because he can talk for 10 hours nonstop and still have more to say. The best part is that he didn't try to make it into The Jerry Show. It was all about Michael. Great job, Jerry.

I was totally amazed at his speech! It was really the first time that I could sit (well stand...I stood throughout the whole induction process for all the players like I stand up for all Cowboy games) and I did not hear one "uhh", "ahh", "lip smack"...not one!

I was impressed! :D

I said it last nite and i'll say it again, Jerry Jones could sell an eskimo a fan. How Laura Miller said no to him, i'll never understand.

Think about what it did to Jerry's self confidence

I mean... he had it whipped out right in front of her and she still turned it down

I wish I knew what that story was all about! Never heard about it.

Laura Miller was the mayor of Dallas who turned down Jones' offer to build his new stadium in Dallas instead of Arlington.

I'd bet that he sounded so smooth because his speech was prepared and rehearsed instead of off the cuff like pcs. People tend to have the "uh" and "ah" moments when they're putting their thoughts together.

He sounded great, and looked very happy.

Oh, I had no idea who she was. Thanks. Not as scandalous as I was thinking. At least not in that was. :D
