Who thought Jerry Did a great job?

Of all the presenters and inductees, with all the emotion starting with Sanders' shout out to his mom ending with MI's memorable acceptance....it was Jerry whom I found the most impressive. He was perfect, imo, in tone, content, and degree of reverence for the moment.

As moving as Mike was, I think the tribute the night before - the Michael Irvin - the Road to Canton show on the NFL network was the most touching treatment of the MI story.

Jerry's introduction really felt like a revved up revival preacher's. He was definitely in fine form.

I thought Jerry did a real good job last night. Especially when he said "He's a Cowboy!"

Jerry finally took my advise and got some speech lessons. he didn't have the usual "ums", "ahs", or lip-smacks and stayed on track the whole time. I thought he did a great job and was the best I've ever heard him.

Michael Irvin also did a wonderful job. So far, the last few Cowboys to go in have been excellent (Aikman, Wright, & Irvin). I'm sure Emmitt will do a good job when he goes in in a few years as well.

Larry Allen... well I've already written his speech for him: "Um...thanks." Nuf said.

Speaking of when other guys go in, I know it's not incumbent upon any inductee to do this, however, I would like to hear them make a push for one of the guys who should be and is not in. And that is Bob Hayes.

I know the skins fans are screaming that Art Monk should be in the HIF and I don't disagree with them one bit. Monk was a great WR. However, I don't feel he should be in ahead of Bob Hayes.

I know Bob is no longer with us but would hope that some day, we will add Bob to that Hall. It seems incomplete without him, IMO.

Larry Allen's speech will be the first speech ever to incorporate a bench press.

I Thought Jerry did a great job. I love Jerry passion about this football team and the guys who play for him.

I'd bet that he sounded so smooth because his speech was prepared and rehearsed instead of off the cuff like pcs. People tend to have the "uh" and "ah" moments when they're putting their thoughts together.

He sounded great, and looked very happy.

See Faerluna's post. Because I believe that is exactly what happened. When people have time to rehearse and prepare, you will get less lip smacks and pauses...

Like others have said, Jerry did a wonderful job... He looked really sharp in his Cowboy blue.

I think Jerry will get a couple of more requests to introduce based on how he did.

I'm wondering who Jerry will ask to introduce him when he is selected? My guess is Stephen.

I would hope one day Jerry will be inducted but even Jerry said this may be his only chance to stand up on stage at the HOF. I was glad to hear both Irvin and Deion mention that Jerry gets a bad rap that he does not deserve.

As a Cowboy fan, I thought he did an ok job.

If I wasn't a Cowboy fan, I'd have shut the TV off.
