Who told me that the Eagles would be fine?

no ones counted Lane out for the playoff game 1 yet..
Even if he plays. Which I think is just talk from the FO of Philly to not have the fans panic, a torn muscle in the abdomen area of an offensive tackle will hurt no matter what they inject him with. One inside move could end his year or worse.

Hurts was in the MVP convo for a reason. Eagles are vulnerable but I expect them to be better if Hurts is healthy.
Right. They built a college offense for a college QB. Minshew isn’t bad, but he’s more the prototypical NFL QB.

No team has ever won a Super Bowl because of an offensive tackle.

If that was the case Dallas would've been racking them up the past decade.

Lane Johnson has been a key part of the Eagles getting to 13 wins and the Eagles OL overall has been a key factor in the success of their season. We have yet to see how Jalen Hurts does when one of the biggest pieces is missing on the OL. And when Lane Johnson himself won't even be at 100% when he tries to return for the playoffs. We also have no clue on how Hurts does when the playoff spot light is. It's one thing for him to do it in the regular season. He still has to prove he can take it to another level in the playoffs. And now is in a spot where he might not be at 100% and will be tested against the Giants, even if the Giants play their back ups.

He's not going to be 100% and defensive coordinators are going to for sure be testing his side of the field if he decides to play. He's going to be going against massive defensive line man and has to use those muscles which are torn in order to keep them away from Jalen Hurts.

Injuries are part of the game. We have our own as well. No sympathy. I’m no fan of run 1st QBs like hurts. Once the injuries start and the running is no longer effective, then you have another RG3.
Teams tailor their offense to the running QB because that’s the easiest and quickest way to get a return on their investment. Teams can’t wait 3-4 years for a QB to possibly develop into an NFL pocket QB. And it’s almost the same for OL. They don’t have to hold blocks near as long in college and they come out underdeveloped because if being underclassmen.

I'm team over players always.

I don't think this team can win a Super Bowl with Rush or Dak at QB. They both are bums and the QB position should be taken seriously.
You have been bad mouthing the team for years. It is really strange, but I love how you make a fool of yourself. Please keep it up, I love it. So, after your 8 win prediction, you give us this nugget that our qbs are bums and can't be taken seriously after what should be a 13 and 4 season which is 5 more wins than you said they would get and could be the best in the league.

Gardner Minshew is having to throw the ball too much which has led to some turnovers. They haven’t been running the ball very well so games are being put on him. When we played with Cooper Rush he wasn’t having to throw the ball much. We were playing great defense and running the ball. He never had a turnover until we played Philly and that’s when he was forced into having to do too much. We won a game with Rush when he only had 16 passing attempts. Another big issue with Gardner Minshew is he doesn’t have the mobility Jalen Hurts has. He can’t make the plays with his legs Hurts does.

wait, I thought the Eagles had a dominant run game? Their run game is avg.... having a QB rush for 50 yards a gae sure makes your run game look great. But when you try to run the balll by just lining up with no running qb, that run game looks pretty pedestrian now. The reado option strike fear into nobody when Minschew is the guy doing the reading.

Eagles fans better hope Hurts plays next week, because if he doesnt, I see the Giants actually playing this game out and beating them.

This isn't like Dak getting hurt and the team going 4-1 without him. You're seeing what a real difference maker looks like when he's not playing.
LOL.

More like, you are seeing what real coaching looks like vs's amateur hour in Philly.

They decided not to run the ball and change nothing with Gardner and it is killing them.

Our offense was in the toilet with Rush but it helped our defense because we played so conservatively.

Are the regular season wins parade lonely?

I haven't really spoken about the Eagles one way or the other,
but it's fair to point out that these 2 losses have come with their backup QB

Hurts will be playing in the playoffs

and btw, SF will have Deebo Samuels back for the playoffs as well.

Sirianni and the Eagles may be the 2006 Dallas Mavericks and Avery Johnson. Avery was a wound up spring and, when the Heat turned the tide in the Championship series, he didn’t have the personality or skill to calm the team down and refocus. It remains to be seen if the in your face Sirianni can.

They’re struggling to run the ball without Hurts. Not having the read option threat has taken a big bite out of their offense. It’s putting too much on their backup QB.
I bet that Hurts can't wait to stick that bad shoulder into the dline.
