Who told me that the Eagles would be fine?

They are not the same team without Hurts So lets not get carried away. Minshew is a stand in the pocket QB far more affected by blocking than Hurts who can run and make defenders miss. It is not a coincidence they have lost 2 in row without him. Hurts had a full practice yesterday and looks to return to help Philly wrap up a first round bye and top seed.
They aren't the same team without Lane Johnson.

I think they will be fine. People post their win loss record when he misses games but I would guess a lot of that is coincidence.

Ehhhh, nah, he's actually really important to that OL. There's no doubt that the OL has struggled more when he's been out over the years. If he can't go in January or is severely limited, it's a really big blow for them.

Some in the press up here are already suggesting that the Eagles contemplate moving Mialata to RT and starting Dillard at LT as opposed to Mialata at LT and Driscoll at RT. Driscoll has been pretty bad replacing Johnson.

Oh it’s a blow I’m sure but not a death blow.

They tried that a couple years ago… it didn’t end well. Both Dillard and mailata have improved though so who knows. I read that Driscoll has had some good games and bad games.

Driscoll did pretty good in King Kong, in the NFL not so much.

I went back and a majority of your posts are just about the Eagles. Hmmm.

Driscoll has been bad in replacing Johnson. He was abused in the Saints game to where many in the media were suggesting it might be time to move Mailata and insert Dillard.

Like it or not they are our biggest rival…And we are both having great seasons… I’m a contrarian, I usually only post things that I disagree with and on this board that seems to be very often grossly underestimating our main rival…Either that or ridiculously praising our esteemed elite quarterback.
I hate the Commanders. But I have a grudging and respect for both the Giants and Eagles… They do things the way that I wish we did.

Why oh why didn't we cut Brown 3-4 years ago and kept Cedric Wilson....we would be the #1 seed right now.

Yes the same Giants who have 4 wins twice, and 5 and 6 wins once over the last four years.

They have been stellar. They are also close to losing both their qb and their star rb, while having zero wrs.

I love the absolute recency bias on the board.

They also have won the superbowl this century and are run by professionals. We and the commanders are run by egotistical billionaires.

Yes losing Lane is a huge blow. Less of a blow if Hurts stays healthy vs having to play a guy like Minshew, but a blow either way

However, their record without Lane is, obviously, partly due to the state of the rest of the team during his absences. A lot of the oline was banged up at the same time Lane was in the past. They are better equipped now to play without him than they have been.

He’s going to try to play in the playoffs, but I have my doubts on how long he will last.

The Eagles aren't the problem. The 49ers are, and Brady and Rodgers, who have Dallas' number.
Kinda wish Dallas would of made a play for Brady when he went to the BUCS. I know that would of been like spitting in Daks face but I would be fine with that.
