I'm not sure hwere I'd rank this one as far as which game is the hardest of the remaining 6, but it has to be very near the top.
The probelm is that almost all of them--at least 4 of 5--look tough. And even the 6th one (Oakland) is 4-6 and playing fairly well.

I'd say the rank is something like this--though several could be flip-flopped:
at Chicago (Dallas w/o Lee, Chi w/ Cutler)
at NYG (Dallas w/o Lee)
at Washington...just because
Philly in Dallas
Green Bay in Dallas (if they have Rodgers, maybe move up to 3rd)
Oakland in Dallas

I'm sure the Giants are emboldened after watching our beatdown by the Saints. IMO, they really have nothing to lose with all of the trash talk, because they will be declared dead if they lose at home to the Cowboys, who will be 4-0 in the division, and own the head-to-head tiebreaker over the G-Men.

Yea you're right. We were pushovers in NO.

From the quotes I've heard this week, we're gonna get steamrolled. The Giants have their sights set on us and it seems as if we don't even know we have a game, talking more about the job security of our coach next year than preparing for a first place divisional match up.

And please do not forget Jerry talking about what great work he's doing.

I don't know who "wants" it more, but they do need it more if they have any hope of staying in the race. I'm sure in the back of our guys' minds they know they can lose this game, beat a very bad Raiders team at home on Thanksgiving, and be 6-6 and still in the race.

mentally Dallas will be out of it because not only have we declared if you are a good team we wil lose to you, we wil now say even if you were a dead team we will lose to you and the Raiders will feel better going into Thanksgiving than Dallas.

I just feel like the Giants have more to lose and they'll come out Sunday like it's the last game of their lives. They're 4-6. If they lose they're 4-7, which is 2 games behind Philly and essentially 3 games behind Dallas (since we'd be 2 games up and we would've won both the head-to-heads). As bad as we've been, there's almost a 0% chance they'd come back from 3 games behind with only 5 games to go.

If we lose, on the other hand, we're still in the driver's seat. Even though we'd be a game behind Philly, we'd still beat out Philly for the division if we won out because beating Philly in the finale would give us the same record plus the tie-breaker for winning both head-to-heads. So if we lost we'd still have the heads up on Philly and we'd be tied with NY in the head-to-head, so the division would come down to some weird tie-breakers between us and NY if we both won out.

The point is, this is a must-win for NY but not for us. The only way I see NY losing is if their talent is just so inferior to ours. I see NY coming out the gate full-throttle and us flat. I hope I'm wrong.

With all of the young players that the Cowboys are depending on, I think they're more likely to be overly hyped-up for the game. If the Cowboys don't play well it will be due to lack of experience and/or talent not lack of motivation.

This.
I can't believe there are people here that think because our guys are not yapping like little school-girls to the press that they are not fired up out of their minds for this one.
This will be a battle. I just wish I felt a little better about it.

a battle is when two sides compete, in this case one will be competing to stay alive, the other will be the Dallas Cowboys with no pressure on them because the HC knows he coming back.

I disagree.
But that's what message boards allow.
I expect a battle, though I have no idea who the winner will be. If someone forced me to pick, I'd probably be pretty much in line with Vegas on this one.

more than fair, i just see the evidence, and yes even i said when it comes to dallas and Giants, you dont listen to anyone who thinks they know, once that ball is kicked everything is out the door. That said, Coughlin will want it more and see to it. I hope im wrong, but when it comes to November and the Cowboys, Coughlin always gets it right.

I agree. Right now the Giants are playing better and they seem to be sky high for this game. Do the Cowboys have a single edge in this matchup aside from Bailey?

I hope we don't win this game today and then blow a big turkey fart on Thanksgiving.

Dallas is about to get physically manhandled by a wounded team that has found its will to fight again and now is fighting for its life. This group of soft players in Dallas is going to willingly lay down and roll over. I fully expect to see Romo's deer in the headlight blank stare on the sidelines that he has patented over the last 4 years. This is the game that I think many of the fluffers that still believe this core group is capable of being a playoff and Super Bowl contender will finally see the truth. Of course, I fully hope I'm 100% wrong.
