I don’t like Eli the stunt he pulled on draft day was childish. It is kinda funny the Giants gave up picks for the lesser QB yeah Eli has rings but I think most would agree Rivers is a better QB. I have no interest in seeing any player hurt I refuse to sink to the level of Eagle fans cheering Irvin injured.

Sorry bro, maybe my dislike for Eli is deserving of me seeking some counseling, couch time, but I want to see broken bones.

Yes, wanting to see another human being injured, one that you’ve never met before and has done nothing to ever hurt you, might be deserving of counseling.

At the very least, it makes you seem like a far worse person than Eli Manning.

I prefer the ole 2-14 and 3-13 with Eli completely healthy

Seriously, Eli was a co Man of the Year because of giving his time to help children so no, I do not want a man like that hurt. He's fun to make fun of because of the facial expressions and a much better player that we want to give him credit for being but he's proven himself more than just a football player. Nice to see a good man when there seems to be a shortage now.

Dude beat Brady — TWICE — in the SB, but is now living on borrowed time and recently watched his best WR get traded.

I wish him all the luck in the world...except against us.

As for seeing him get smashed, Eli looks like a Dewar’s and water kinda guy — if you’re buying.

I wish no harm on any athlete, in any sport, that isn't a Philadelphia Eagle.

That being said, I hope he sack him and sack him and sack him some more.

I don’t want to see any player hurt. But if we could rough him up and have him nervous and throwing bad passes then it’s more beneficial than him being out of the game..

Yep and making goofy faces and gestures. That one he makes after throwing a pick with throwing his hands up in a "I give up" gesture is great.

I think someone, and maybe it was his wife, told him to stop staring with his mouth open, looking like an idiot, on the sideline because he backed off on that a little but still reverts to it when he forgets.

The one thing I regret about Eli is that we didn't have him. Can you imagine these forums with his facial expressions and gestures? Romo was just scratching the surface with his fat butt, pachyderm ears and backwards cap. We would have been close to HOF material with Eli.

Yes and all his luck. If he was here maybe we would have 2 more sb rings..

Tis but a flesh wound mate... bones heal,,
I never said I wanted to see the man die, lets not go to extremes here.
Once upon a time this was a gladiator sport, now Im beginning to see why this once great game is getting so soft around the edges.
Fans are really beginning to buy in to the soft tackle concept, that's driving the league even harder to create more rules to remove the violence.
Football is the most violent sport on the planet, and you can put all the rules in place to try and curtail injuries, but all your really doing is watering down the game.

All Eagles, Giants, and Commander fans are saying the same thing when asked this about Dak

Despite what you might think, not all people want to see their opponents suffer terrible physical trauma for their amusement.

Great thread though

To wish injury on any player sounds pretty Albert Haynesworth-ish..........the only one that I didn't hate to see get hurt. and actually felt joy from was Joe Theismann....I could watch that over and over.

To me, "smashing Eli" is sort of like "taking out the trash on Wednesday". It's just something routine that you do, and you don't have to put a lot of effort into it.

You thought he looked bad last year, wait till you see how he looks after another year of decline and without his #1 WR.

Looking forward to this year as being the year that Eli gets to suffer some of the Romo abuse.
The giants pre designed 3 step drop to keep Eli from getting hit may not be enough to save him this season.
He should have stayed a Charger, lost any respect for him back on that draft day.
Tank can earn my respect back if he just destroys this smug punk.
He lives in the shadow of his HOF brother, poor kid, but sad thing is, he will probably get a jacket too.
Bury Eli Tank, go get him!!! When this defense can actually put Eli out for the season, or if Im being PC... a few games, then you know this team is bound for the SB.
Let that be our measuring stick.. That's my season mantra and Im sticking to it!!

I'd prefer it if he didn't get smashed. Shaken up a little maybe, but I firmly want him as the starting QB for the Giants. They longer they stick with him, the longer they will continue to suck.

Yes, and it's unfortunate that Rivers has been stuck with a dreadful FO that hasn't given much help to him. He's had years in the AFC West where he should've won the division. As someone who likes the Broncos when they're not playing the Cowboys, I'm glad he didn't haha.
