To wish injury on any player sounds pretty Albert Haynesworth-ish..........the only one that I didn't hate to see get hurt. and actually felt joy from was Joe Theismann....I could watch that over and over.
Uh-oh, Greg is going to call you deplorable.

Why would I want an awful QB “smashed”? No thanks, please keep him healthy all year.

Eli’s own play is the worst thing one can say about him. Let the man keep playing and exposing his own mediocrity for the world to see. Every garbage season is another knock on his HOF candidacy.
I sort of agree.

Hate that crap he did in the visitors locker opening day of the stadium..

but lately he has been the reason for the Giants failures.

Now with OBJ gone..

Eli is going to retire after this season.

So this is probably our last chance to see him play.

Way back when..

when Ali Sherman was the Giants HC..

the fans would sing at the end of the game..

" Goodbye Ali, Goodbye Ali, we are going to see you now."

It was hysterical.

All together now..

Hhmmmm...

"Goodbye Eli, goodbye Eli..."

Sorry bro, maybe my dislike for Eli is deserving of me seeking some counseling, couch time, but I want to see broken bones.
What goes around comes around, wishing injuries on another player is a punk b move. Live in Philly? If not, you would fit in well.

Looking forward to this year as being the year that Eli gets to suffer some of the Romo abuse.
The giants pre designed 3 step drop to keep Eli from getting hit may not be enough to save him this season.
He should have stayed a Charger, lost any respect for him back on that draft day.
Tank can earn my respect back if he just destroys this smug punk.
He lives in the shadow of his HOF brother, poor kid, but sad thing is, he will probably get a jacket too.
Bury Eli Tank, go get him!!! When this defense can actually put Eli out for the season, or if Im being PC... a few games, then you know this team is bound for the SB.
Let that be our measuring stick.. That's my season mantra and Im sticking to it!!
So putting Eli out for a few games means the team is SB bound? Not seeing the correlation there.

Surprisingly enough, Eli’s QBR was only 5 points less than Daks and his O line was ten times as worse and Odiva was out 4-5 games. He actually played decent the second half of the season when the O line got somewhat fixed and IIRC the Giants scored more points in the last 8 games than any other NFCE team (or something close to that).

Their O line will be much better this year with no Flowers and an added Pro Bowler guard. Tate may not have been worth what they paid but he’s pretty solid and reliable all around. Don’t get me wrong, Eli is on the downside for sure and needs to hang it up but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has one of his best years (out of the past 5-6) this year.

As others have said, the longer he stays the better. I do have to give him props for never missing a game due to injury, that’s pretty impressive especially considering the O lines he’s had for the past 6-7 years.

On a side note, makes me wonder if the Giants will go for a QB this year. I think it’s Eli’s last year under contract.

You mean this “crap” that was and is completely blown out of proportion? This “crap” that Jerry likes so much he won’t let it be removed? I originally thought the same thing but instead of jumping to conclusions I actually did a little “research” and then found it funny.

I would not put it past the Giants to go for a WR in the draft to replace OBJ..

and roll the dice on Eli and ask for help with his contract.

That is what I would do.

They keep talking about they are not going to cut him.

But then they just signed OBJ to his deal and ate all that cap hit.

Who knows.

I’ll be honest, I’m almost more interested in their draft than ours, mainly because they need a new QB, have two first round picks, 12 overall and we have no first round picks.

Everyone was talking about how great the meaningless catch Beasley made against the Giants was and I was throwing things. That catch bumped the Giants up from 10th in the draft to 6th. If they take a QB with 6, more power to them, I think they’re all questionable, but if they take one of those stud defensemen than that catch could literally haunt us (and Dak) for years. But hey, we needed that for momentum the playoffs

Rival or not, I would have rather lost that meaningless game then give the Giants a draft pick 4 spots higher.

Lol, well I didn’t know it was a “tradition” in a lot of stadiums. Even Jerry appreciated it.

Honestly, I can't imagine as to why I should want to see Eli get "smashed." I respect him as an opponent and a good QB. It's as simple as that! He didn't do anything to Romo and Romo didn't do anything to him. The resentment for Romo's decline has nothing to do with Eli. Let's just allow common sense to prevail. A somewhat promising future lies ahead. Let's try to enjoy it, for those of you who are inclined to. If so, all due respect.

Eli sucks almost as bad Garrett.

NO Qb is going to look good with the worst Oline in football. Which is what they have basically had for the past 5 years. They have taken the last two years and really tried to rebuild that line. Lets hope in doesnt succeed because Sequan Barkley behind a good line would be absolutely devastating. As if he isnt already.
