who wears the Radio helmet on D?

I vote for Roy Williams SS.

"Ok Roy... he is coming towards you... now tackle him while he is still in front of you... dont... dont.... dont...... let him get by............ you...****?"

Out comes Yellow Flag = Personal Foul - Horsecollar

i would say Hamlin he really stepped it up last year and started becomin a leader of our D. he's a very smart player he would be perfect to set up our D and protectin Roy

hopefully not RW poor guy can only concentrate on one thing at a time.:lmao:

never ceases to amaze me how quickly every single topic can turn toword a bash roy topic.

If the D is set like last year, then it's liely that James will by the designated "miked-up man".

Better off having Hamlin with the headset. He played 98% of the downs last year whereas Bradie usually went to the sidelines on nickel and dime packages. And for the most part of his career, Hamlin has played a great percentage of the downs on defense. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Hamlin is given the headset.

he doesn't need a radio in his helmet. i heard he read his coaches minds last season.
lol you should start a chuck norris like thread about DMAC

i just heard on the tv that mcfadden cannot be drafted. Infact hes been in the league for years. Just under many alias.

jim brown, tony dorsett, walter payton, barry sanders and emmitt smith. WEre just some of the names he used while playing.

You have to give it to the guys on the field the most but not rely on it too much since if you get too focused on the helmet you screw your sub packages

Call me crazy, but Terrence Newman seems the most logical candidate considering he plays every defensive snap, whereas DL/LBs often get rotated out due to packages.

Easy pick...Zach Thomas. 3 down LBer who will become the leader of the D.
Given what Zach and others have said, I don't think he's going to be a 3 down LB. Or at least he's going to be substituted in and out quite a bit.

please let it be hamlin thomas or ellis, james is a good player but let someone else have a turn.

There is going to be one radioed helmet for the secondary. They will swap and share.

i would say Ken. i was just thinking do any think it would help the D, i think it helps the QB because the person calling plays in can tell him where the open man is. just a thought

The radio is turned off at the 15 second mark for the offense? If Peyton Manning is up on the line at 20 seconds, is the radio still live? I didn't think the QB could be getting help while at the line.

Would the defense gets its signal cut at the snap?

This all triggered by Romo2Owens4six's comment.
