Just about everybody played good except for Schultz.

Wilson and Diggs were really good on defense.

Lamb Gallup and Rush on offense.

Offensive line played good again.
Offensive line played good again?

Pollard was 3× worse than Zeke.

He averaged less than a yard per carry.

And he was very lucky not to average negative yards.
Yeah, I had Zeke as worse due to volume of carries but could easily have flipped them.

Positives:

The pass rush balled out again today. Washington schemed to get the ball out faster on screens, but defenders were getting home FAST. Parsons, DLaw, Fowler, Gallimore had a day, it was the same kind of swarm approach we have been seeing.

Diggs had a Defensive MVP level game. 5 targets, 1 pick, 3 deflections. He is merging the playmaking gambler ability we've seen earlier with genuine step-for-step lockdown coverage.

Da'Ron Bland stepped in for Jourdan Lewis and didn't miss a beat. Had a really nice pick and broke up an end zone fade. He looks like the real deal.

Kellen Moore schemed up a really nice passing game today. 2 of CeeDee's catches were set up against a linebacker, and his long TD was set up on a damned-if-you do corner and post combo. CeeDee sold it with great route running, but the play design was there.

Negatives:

The OL got caved in, especially in run blocking. There was nothing in the interior. Rush got rid of the ball fast, but there was some pressure. Both running backs had zero room.

Brown was back in "Almost Anthony" mode, running with guys but giving up plays at the catch point.

3:50 - Farniok is knocked flat on his ace. And the guy who blocked kick came from the RIGHT side where Farniok lined up.

Farniok also gave up only sack on Rush.

Because Cowboys had more explosive plays when Peters replaced Farniok vs Giants.

The very first run play by TP went for 46 yards on the ground.

Then Zeke broke one for 27 behind left side.

When Farniok is not liability in pass blocking AND is run blocking on big runs then you can crow.

Wasn't "crowing" about anyone, thought Farniok held his own since McGovern went down - neither is anything special - having said that, how did McGovern do today, (didn't watch the game) would you start him over Farniok?

As for Peters, seems like they easing him in - how did he do today, does he look like he'll be able to take over at G for the rest of the season?

We got lucky that we played a team more sloppy and undisciplined than us. Washington had 2 INTs called back on penalties. Cooper was again hamstrung by questionable play calling. There was one series in particular in the first half where he hit Lamb 3 plays in a row for almost 50 yards. It was clear Washington was having a defensive issue with lamb. But, then Moore called a sweep against a 9 man front on first down that lost yards and the drive stalled. Moore doesn't seem to understand the concept of momentum.

It's part of the Boy Genius Coach shtick he learned from Garrett.

Go watch it again.

The entire OL folded but the guy pushed back furthest was Farniok. Farniok guy did not get the block but he was still abused.

It's not like this is a first time thing.
I watched it. Farniok fell backward, but his man did not get through nor block the extra point. Falling backwards happens once in a while whenever blocking for an extra point, especially inside where the bigger and stronger opponents are cramped together and bullrushing you. You would know this if you played the sport and ever blocked for extra points or FGs.

Dude is franchised for this year - everyone killing Schultz, what did he do - throw a ball into the crowd and hit a kid in the head?

The mob mentality.
Overnight Schulte is a bum.
For Dak we need 6 years to know his many failings.

Diggs and Lamb played great. Rush is now 4-0 as a starter, but he had a really mediocre outing. It was strange seeing the refs tossing flags on plays they ignored last week.
LOL, its called home field advantage. You get the calls like that at home and don't on the road for the most part. NFL has been like this for awhile
