Gotta go with Ferguson. Schoonmaker looks so unathletic.

We knew when he was draft it would take some time to develop that part of his game. He is better. He will continue to get better. We all saw what he did when he got targets. He is a big man and while never be deep threat or speed guy he can get open and make plays.
Actually I doubt how well he will get open; but I have hope he will be a very good red zone and short yardage receiver.

They are both JAG's,,,,sorry to say we need to get someone else....they both made ZERO difference this year....our TE game may have been the worst in the entire NFL. Anyone know? I'm too disinterested to look it up.

I voted ferg. But schoon did step up when ferg was out. Neither are worth extending unless cheap so if the boys can trade ferg for a 5th round pick if let him go and hope schoon continues to progress.

I voted for Ferg. That said, he really needs to step up his game.

He was really grinding my gears at times this year. Especially with the pre-snap penalties.
big dog---- i heard pundits say he lost his confidence????....when you lose your first string QB does not help matters

I like Ferg but Schoonmaker has a much higher ceiling IMO. But so much of a TE's stats and impact are decided by scheme, play-caller, QB and coaches.
Yes! I saw a lot down the stretch that Schoon could actually be a weapon if used. Being used is key

That's what I saw. I really don't understand this tremendous upside that's being touted. He looks like a prototypical backup TE.
It’s not there.

He’s Blake Jarwin with better blocking and worse after the catch.

That’s Schoonmaker.

I really need to see more run after catch from Schoonmaker. So far he reminds me of David LaFleur. Big guys falls down on contact.
