but " painfully" i'm voting for McCarthy to return.

- Jones may feel if they can " twink" McCarthy asst. coaches staff and convince him to turn over the play calling duties to a OC of " their " choice, and retain ZImmer as DC (though that
will impact Al Harris' departure, imo ) then that will save them the search job of hiring a new HC.

Jerry believes he can jump over tall buildings with a single leap, and he did it in the oil fields, but he has proven to be nothing more than a dry hole wonder in the NFL since Jimmy.

The playoff losses to Green Bay last year and the losses to 'Frisco in the '21 & '22 playoffs tell me the 'Boys won't go far in the playoffs with McCarthy.
But I don't think Jerry sees it that way. McCarthy will be back.
If it were me I would pursue Vrabel. I think he is the best hope for the players to follow.
