New York Giants are 3-4 on the road this year. The Giants teams that won Super Bowls in recent years did so as great road teams, especially late in the season.

People keep forgetting (or aren't realizing) that if we meet NY in the playoffs, they will be playing their 4th consecutive road game at that point. They're closing out the season with 2 consecutive road games, and if they qualify for the playoffs they'll obviously be on the road in the wildcard round.

With that being said, I will gladly face them in the divisional round. They will be trash after that many consecutive weeks on the road.

We don't even know all the match ups in the wild card round so it's premature to ask who the Cowboys will play. They get the lowest seeded team that advances to the divisional round and that is who you want playing in our stadium. :)

Wild Card
NY at Lions - NY Wins
Green Bay at Falcons - Falcons win
Divisional Round
NY at Cowboys - NY
Falcons at Seahawks - Seahawks
NFC Championship
NY at Seahawks - Seahawks

If Green Bay fails to win the division, I'd say it's unlikely they make the playoffs. Tampa Bay would need to lose at least once to either New Orleans or Carolina. Possible, but even then they'd have the same record and the tiebreaker is very close, basically everything would be the same, it'd come down to strength of schedule. I'm not sure who would get the tiebreakear.

But I think Green Bay is going to win the division because of Stafford's finger, and the Lions may be sitting home for the playoffs.

Last year both #1 seeds played their divisional games on Sunday, I can only assume it will be the same this year and every year but I'm not 100% sure.

Despite last night the Giants play their best football when everyone counts them out. I dont think they are going away and I think they play the Cowboys in the divisional round.

After that is Seahawks in the NFC championship.

The best team in the league are the Patriots....until the Cowboys beat them in the Super Bowl.

Home field is a big deal.
it may surprise people to know that Dallas has their last two playoff games--in 2009 and 2014.
It does help.

Most people do not realize this. Dallas is 2-0 at the stadium. Had it not been for the three way tie breaker we would have had home field in 14. I think they go to the Super Bowl in 14 if they play at home that year.

The stadium has been very good. The only game I thought that was kind of average was week 1 vs the giants which was odd. has been very good since then.

I was listening to wfan earlier just to hear the giants fans reactions and that old dope steve somers was on air saying the best part of last night is that we will all get to watch the cowboys lose at home in the playoffs and he wished he could see Tony lose one more time and thank him for all the gifts....i don't even know what that means but that old dope probably doesnt even know romo's record vs ny and Spagnuolo.

anyway, It feels like the universe is going to have NY at Dallas just because, somehow someway. I feel good about this team at home. I think home field advantage is huge this time around and this team is going to play really well at home. Like the blue jays ending up in arlington in october though it feels like the giants will end up in arlington in january. Its going to be an all timer of a game i bet also.

Giants have basically clinched the 5 seed. The 6th, as of right now, looks to be between TB/Detroit.

1 is locked up. 2 will be Seattle unless they lost a game they shouldn't. Atlanta is looking like the 3, winner of Detroit/GB will be 4th. I'll go ahead and say that's GB right now

So it looks like the winner of GB/NY unless TB can beat Atlanta in Atlanta, which isn't impossible, but not likely.

Going to be hard for NY to go into Lambeau and get a W with that offense right now.

Pittsburgh will roll New England in the playoffs. Nobody on that defense can stop brown or bell, they almost lost to them without Ben and with gronk

NE is pretty unbeatable it seems at home. It'd be a good game but I'm not going against Brady at home in the playoffs.

Lots of football still to be played, but looking through all the scenarios who do you think the Cowboys will face in the playoffs?

My predictions:

Round 1
Cowboys vs Detroit

NFC Championship
Cowboys vs Seattle

Superbowl
Cowboys vs New England

Giants so we can avenge our 2 loses and for 2007

Seattle to take the throne of the New Big Dogs in the NFC

Patriots to restore the order in the NFL and take the title of the Kings of the National Football League

Dont think they will make it that far, when they lose and get exposed they slide, no time for that in the play offs. Having said that I would love to meet them again, I know we are much better than they are and I'd like to stomp their faces in
